We booked Caer Llan for my husband’s 60th birthday party - 25 of us during the day, and another 6 in the evening. We ranged in age from 20 months to 70. We had a buffet lunch, dinner in the evening and breakfast the next morning. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service excellent. From the moment of booking, nothing was too much trouble for Jake and Vicky, and every one of was treated us as a special guest. And on top of that were the breathtaking views! I can’t recommend Caer Llan highly enough. Thank you, Jake and Vicky for making it an unforgettable event.

Fantastic wedding venue, our hosts were friendly, helpful and really well organized. All members of staff friendly and helpful. Beautifull food and accommodation with breathtaking views. All to make for a brilliant weekend to remember and cherish for many years to come.

Went as a wedding guest. Fantastic day which was made perfect by this wonderful venue. The weather was very changable from sunshine to heavy downpour but the owners just modified the outdoor seating arrangements seamlessly to suit. When the best wedding meal I have ever had was served we were all verbally refererd to by our first names, can't work out how they managed that, it was extremely professional yet personal. I could go on about the views from the balcony and that the whole place was very well maintained.

My daughter’s wedding was on 30th May. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by Jake, Vicky & all the staff. Nothing too much trouble, rooms comfortable & nicely decorated, the whole venue just stunning inside & out, food well cooked & presented and delicious! Would recommend without hesitation. Celebrated my daughter’s wedding 30th May, the venue is superb, not just for the landscape views, the owners Jake and Vicky and all the staff are so attentive and very professional, everyone ensured Gemma and Aaron’s day was even more perfect. What a fabulous venue for a wedding! We just had a wonderful family wedding here and enjoyed the beautifully maintained buildings and gardens with magnificent views across the Welsh landscape. The whole weekend went well, with fantastic service from the owners and staff and everything organised superbly. The food was great, the rooms lovely, all the facilities excellent and we really cannot fault anything.

This is an absolutely Stunning Wedding Venue with Magical Views and a World Class Service Team . This was honestly the best wedding that I have been to in 25 years . From the minute we arrived until the minute we left our every need was catered for . The accommodation is split between the main house which in itself is just incredible full of history , maintained to the highest standard to an out building with very high quality rooms where myself & my friend stayed . Our room was called Fair isle and was huge . Super comfy beds , lots of space , spotlessly clean , We had a lovely big bath and shower with very high quality linens & towels . The out building was initially one of the first eco buildings in the country and has won awards . It was perfectly blended into the countryside & looked easily as old as the main house which was quite miraculous as it’s only about 25 years old . These rooms stayed cool and light and airy whilst it was roasting hot outside . The weather for May was incredible & the venue has incredible outside spaces which can be utilised in all different types of weather . Seriously the views are breathtaking & being able to sit & chill lounging on comfy sofas whilst outside.was heaven . There was lots of places within the main house where you could sit & chat & relax & off course the Swimming pool . This pool probably has the best views of any pool in the whole country . I was sat there with my feet in the pool , enjoying the sun listening to the birds which was so relaxing . Rebecca & Lee the bride & Groom had worked with the owners of Caer Llan Jake & Vicky to create not only a magical romantic wedding for themselves but they ensured every person attending had the exact same experience . This has created so many wonderful memory’s for everyone who attended . Everything from the wedding service itself to the canapés & photographers was brilliant . I have to say that Jake & Vicky and every member of staff at Caer Llan did an amazing job , Service was 5 star , the waiting on staff , Bar staff & Kitchen team where magnificent . Nothing was ever too much , all needs where catered for and the food was simply incredible . From the minute we arrived to the minute we left we where looked after & honestly I have to say that the team Vicky and Jake have created is superb , absolutely faultless . One big family and it shows because every guest at Rebecca & Lee’s wedding where treated with the utmost respect and care . It was a magical day where both the bride and groom looked amazing & the wedding itself was such a beautiful day . All the guests had the time of their lives and I can honestly hand on heart say it was the best wedding I’ve been to in 25 years & I would highly recommend this venue to anyone . Despite living in the same County, I had never heard of Caer Llan. Situated on the hillside above Monmouth with quite spectacular views, this is a real gem. Licences for weddings, the venue is simply superb, oozing with character and quality. The staff were exceptionally supportive, nothing was a trouble and they were all, without exception, genuinely interested in you and keen to ensure your stay was perfect in every regard. Special mention for the food, plentiful and of very high quality. The 16 well appointed bedrooms allowed family members and friends to stay for the wedding we attended. Literally, THE perfect wedding venue.

THE perfect venue! Stop scrolling- you don't need to look at anything else. My husband and I searched for hours online to find a venue that suited our wedding and then we came across Caer Llan. Caer Llan was the only place that we went to go and see and it was even more amazing and inviting than we saw on photos. Stunning views, not too big/not too small venue, the most accommodating and friendly hosts and owners that we could ask for and hard working staff too. We didn'tended to go anywhere else, it felt right. why look further when you have found something as unique as caer Llan? 2 months on from the wedding, we are still getting so many compliments about our wedding day. The biggest compliment was about how delicious the food was and how much of it there was! I was so full from our wedding breakfast, I could hardly eat our bbq meal for the evening but i did manage to try a bit. Well done to Richard and the team. There is a good sized menu to choose from. The view is beautiful for a photo backdrop and you get amazing sunsets up there! Our photographer commented òn how the view looked like we were in Italy with the set up of everything. Vicky and Jake were so helpful from the very beginning, we didn't feel pressured into anything and they were open about costs and answering questions from the very beginning. They suggested ideas to us but also listened to what we would like, i:e: a different table layout to how they would normally do it. Throughout the wedding planning, I stayed so calm and didn't stress at all. This was down to vicky's detailed planning and back up plans for if it rains. I felt so calm on the day too, everything was taken care of. The rest of the team kept the food coming smoothly and the drinks flowing all night. We didn't have a huge wedding, only 28 guests in the day and 55 in the evening. The venue made it feel like it was made for the size of our guest list perfectly. There are so many areas for guests to spread out and char with one another. We just wanted to say a huge thank you and for making our day so memorable for the right reasons! Like every father of the bride, you want your daughter's wedding to be something that she and her new husband will remember for the rest of their lives. Reading all the reviews of Caer Llan before we booked lead me to believe that their wedding would be good. It fact it was exceptional, Jake and Vicky and their amazing team delivered an outstanding wedding over the weekend of April 22nd to 24th. The food was wonderful, the surroundings overlooking the beautiful Usk valley absolutely stunning, and an enjoyable time was experienced by everyone of the guests. No mere words can express my thanks to the Caer Llan team for delivering such an experience for my daughter and son-in-law, especially to Jake and Vicky who were there every minute of the weekend ensuring that everything ran oh so smoothly.
