One night stay on route from Edinburgh to Barry island,a bed for the night, firstly if your vehicle is over 2mtrs high you will not get under the arch to the car park. Reception was okay reasonable looking ,but was informed they don't do evening meals ,which on booking.com they said they did, getting a little vexed.this makes it a B+B in...

Where to start? Perhaps the dank dated and depressing room, the fact said room and hotel in general where grubby and in need of a decent clean or the rubbish barman. Am glad breccy wasn't included as this dive displayed a 1 star for food hygene frankly disgusting ..... Monmouth town itself is well worth a visit and the chap...

Outside was drab & grubby. The indoor public areas appeared to have benefited from some effort. The room offered was a shambles and the bathroom unclean and the lavatory malfunctioned. We declined to stay but were charged full price for night.

Stayed here couple of times on work related weekends, good location for the town and ample parking, first room we had wasn't great and there was a lot of noise out from the bar, to be fair we were warned about potential noise but said we weren't botherd wish we had as it was pounding from a party , the...

Although this hotel is very basic, the room we stayed in, #9, was very comfortable. The beds were good, and the washing facilities were also ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view of the river Monniw from our room was nice.

Were given wrong room on arrival but reception were excellent in moving around. We needed ground floor room due to Husband's disability. He made it appear effortless. Room basic but adequate. Excellent location for the town main road.

We stayed here on way back from family get together, it was a very basic room, but spotlessly clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine and I thought that B&B for 2 at £50 was good value. If you are wanting to spoil yourself with a weekend hotel treat, you will be disappointed, but for a routine stop over...

By far the dirtiest room I have stayed in. Stains on sheets. Dirt and dust everywhere. Obvious room had been given a quick wipe round and left filth around edges. Mold in bathroom. Stench when shower is used. Woke up itching. Certainly not in keeping with the rest of this beautiful town .

We stayed here for one night with friends, but we would've stayed longer if we could've. The hotel is so close to the town and river, which is beyond pretty. The staff were lovely and the bar was ace! Don't come here if you're expecting 5 star, but if you want a clean bedroom and a warm welcome, then this...
