We stayed at Estuary Lodge for two nights in October. Very friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. We had our evening meal there both evenings. With friends joining us on the second night. Excellent food.

Booked two nights here via a late booking web site. The web site did state continental breakfast, which was fine. When we arrived booking in was easy and efficient. We were told our breakfast was in our room. Room was modern, clean, spacious and well decorated. The continental breakfast consisted of two pre wrapped chocolate crossiants, an apple and an...

Outstanding room and outstanding food. Greeted with a friendly and welcoming smile, nothing to much trouble. Do plan on booking again. The only issue was the smoke shelter if it rains it drips through the roof over you.

Having arrived rather late in the evening we were greeted warmly by Alison and asked if we needed something to eat - we did, so ordered a Pizza which was freshly made and delivered to our room. Nice start! The rooms are 'motel' style but more plush than you would expect for this type of single storey layout. Parking is...

Stayed for two nights in motel type room which was very spacious, tasteful decor, tea coffee facilities, microwave, fridge with fresh milk and water. Bath with powerful shower over, double vanity unit and bathrobes and hairdryer. Also TV. Staff extremely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast amazing! Would recommend and will be returning next time in this area.

Our second visit at the Estuary Lodge for a four night stay, only stopped for 2 due to an urgent hospital appointment- so really disappointed not to spend the full time at this lovely accommodation. The owners Grant and Alison are great hosts, service brilliant. Room was a fair size and with everything (and more) that you could possibly need-good...

Unfortunately our stay at estuary Lodge did not match up to the reviews that I read and thus I feel obliged to write a real review on what our 2 day bank holiday stay was like; - Room: we were given room number one. This is directly next to the entrance to the restaurant and check in/out section. There is...

Thank you for your review, all opinions are valuable, but some do leave me a little bewildered. If we start with your room allocation: the room adjacent to the reception. This area is only open from 8am to 9pm and outside those times no one passes by the room, and, as on both evenings you were in the restaurant I...

A lovely place to stay, very clean and lots of little thoughtful extras (fresh milk in the fridge, gluten free muesli/non-dairy milk available at breakfast etc). We stayed to walk Snowdon (we chose the Rhyd Ddu path that's about a 30 min drive away from the Estuary Lodge) and do the Ffestinniog railway and it was a perfect base for...

Crewe, United Kingdom

I was actually at the Estuary Lodge on business when your dog attacked the chickens, I heard the noise and I unfortunately saw the aftermath. If you read these other reviews here you will see that they are all 5* reviews including my own and even you have given 3*s, why would you even give 1* if you were treated so badly?

The chickens that your dog killed May not lay golden eggs but they were a rare breed and had come from Shrewsbury, not that it is relevant as it doesn't matter what breed the animals are or where they come from, what matters is you did not have full control of your dog and it actually killed 4 or 5 of the family's pets! THAT is unforgivable! Please ask your self some questions. 1. Who was responsible for the dog that killed the family's pets? 2. Not that it would make any difference but did you even offer an apology? I didn't hear one as you were too busy wanting to explain your actions. 3. Look at the other reviews here. Do you think your review is fair? 4. What would you do if somebody else's animal killed your pets. Your animal now has the taste for blood. The family at Estuary lodge has a small grandchild that is a toddler. After your dog killed their pets, there was no way that they would/could let you or your animals stay. Nobody in their right mind would. Can you not see that? Why would they refund you after you allowed your dog to carry out such an act. You're actually lucky that they did not report you. After being there that day and witnessing how upset the Williams family were and listening to you offer to pay for the chickens as I drank my coffee, I cannot believe that you have the cheek to leave this review. If you had any conscience you would delete it!
