We have been coming to this site for many years and always been such a lovely clean site and enjoyable holidays. This time I was so disappointed the staff are absolutely amazing so friendly and carnt do anoth for you. But they need security or warden on site at to times due to the amount of trouble makers that is being brought back on to the site that I knew and many of us regulars know was banned previously. Also to deal with the unsupervised children hanging round the park causing havoc picking on children with problems. We never had this before. There’s a few family’s we have met over the years that we see everytime we come and we all are thinking of going elsewhere due to all this. The lady’s on the desk are fantastic they really are but they definitely need new cleaners I felt like cleaning the toilets myself. Also I don’t find my things safe before we left chairs out and everything now we have to lock them up all the time 😢 We are coming back in October and I really hope it’s back the same to having a fantastic hoilday like we did before. I know a few of us regulars are coming down to all get together for the last hoilday of the year so hopefully we don’t get that experience again 😢

We visited here for 4 nights in an electric tent pitch with our 2 dogs & 6 year old son. Our friends had a pitch the other side of the site.

The site itself is in a great location from the beach and amusements/chippy/bar/small supermarket. Literally 2 minute walk away.

The only thing that let it down is the facilities. The shower/toilet block was dirty, showers full of grass, seats missing from toilets, locks not working on the doors to enter the block so open to anyone.
There was even a used sanitary towel underneath one of the benches in the toilet block.

The ground was also very rocky/stoney at our pitch closest to the gate on the overflow field, so all our tent pegs were no good after this trip.

I wouldn’t refuse to stay here again but it wouldn’t be a top 10 choice.

We have stayed on this site for the past 3 years at Easter but this year the site has deteriorated a lot!! No reception anymore, toilet and shower facilities were disgusting we had to call each morning to advise how filthy they were. Our electric didnt work so maintenance guy came out to botch it up which didn’t work resulting in them having to get an electrician out, dog poo everywhere and dogs off leads just roaming about, no security or staff about, no facilities passes given for the use of sunny days swimming pool. Such a shame as its always been a good liitke site. Needless to say we have booked elsewhere next Easter!

We arrived here in our Motorhome for a three night stay, at first being a little surprised as no one was in the Reception and we had to walk back to one of their sister sites to register. Key deposit was £20 cash, which we only had by chance as we do not make a point of carrying cash these days, so bear this in mind. (Thought the cost a bit hefty!) We were shown to our site which was more than adequate. Toilet and shower facilities were excellent, site is clean, tidy and accommodates all levels, we were a mature couple but there were a lot of families there, as there are plenty of restaurants, cafe's, arcades etc. just down the road, on the way to the beach. We went outside of school holidays and imagine it would be very busy. Great beach, plenty of walks.
The surprise for us was the train station! It is the main line from Pwllheli to Birmingham. It stops (by request) at all the small stations with Barmouth town being just two stops East. Fares are only about five pounds return. We also met people that had gone for the day to Pwllheli, Harlech and apart from Barmouth we went to Pensarn and a 15 minutes walk to the local Slate Mine which was excellent.
Would recommend this site.

We booked in for three nights at the end of August but only stayed 2!
Not a quiet relaxing site due to extremely noisy road and pedestrians from people walking to and fro the bar late at night.
No warden or security on the site meant that children were bombing down site roads on electric scooters and high volumes of noise and music exceeded well into the night reaching midnight. Inconsiderate holiday makers were noisy on pitches, left dog in tents to go and drink at bar which barked continuously from 5-11pm, and generally not respectful to other campers.
Touring field was left un mowed compared to seasonal pitches and statics and litter was all over the grass.
No soap in the toilets for 2 days and empty toilet rolls left lying around.
There were no staff members available our of hours and only saw 1 member of staff in the office upon arrival, who was very nice.
Extremely disappointed with our stay, only positive was there is a supermarket close by and within walking distance to the beach. Will not be returning.

Quite simply NO!!
I'm so sad as I've been coming camping to Moelfre View for many years. I last came in August 2022 just around the time they were changing to Lyons. What a change to see from then to now.
When I booked last year for this trip, I was told the toilet block would be brand new....nope, the same tired and worn block as always. 4 toilets and 4 showers ( womens)for two chokka-block fields of campers. These were pretty disgusting and without loo roll by midday. Frequented by groups of kids who wonder around swearing or blasting round on their e scooters!! I politely asked a group of no more than 6 year olds to move away from the back of my tent as they were flicking the electric on and off and was told to eff off!!!
It's 10.45 pm as I write this and there are several groups playing loud music and just generally the vibe of Shameless-on-Sea.
No staff or security seen for our whole 5 day stay. We were booked for 7 nights but I'm done here and moving to another site tomorrow. What a shame that such a nice site has taken such a nose dive after being taken over by another huge corporate name!!!!

The site itself is okay. Toilets are okay. 1 water tap to each field.
We had booked 2 nights, we left after 1.
Our first night wasn't too bad, a lot of noise past 11pm and open fires, despite this been banned. Kids running round screaming past 11, loud music till gone midnight. This site isn't manned by anybody. We went out for the day to return and find someone had pitched next to us, that close that their guide ropes were crossing ours. And had lined all their camping chairs up against our tent. There were 3 large families with them, surrounding us. So we knew we were in for another loud night, and wasn't going to put our young children through another terrible night sleep. Will not return to this again.

Campsite has no security at night, so noise levels can go on throughout the night. Toilet and shower block grim, in need of lots of TLC and repair. Not big enough to cope with size of park.
Good location for beach, could be a good campsite if looked after. Train station in walking distance, chip shop and amenities also close.

Terrible camp site. Showers and toilets were disgusting and dated. Men’s toilets had two working toilets as toilet seat was broke in third, always running out of toilet roll. Women’s showers and toilets - not all locks work and generally in a bad way. It is 22:45 hours as I write this review, the kids are trying to sleep but about 30 children are screaming and shouting around our plot so we can’t sleep. Always a smell of cannabis. And playground is covered in litter and falling apart.

This was our 1st time camping in years. This campsite is perfect. Staff are polite, amenities were close and sufficient, beach is lovely. Shower and toilets were close by and clean enough for what we needed.
We will definitely be back, thank you Moelfre View.
