We spent three nights at Mount View and it is really great little campsite. Everything is well maintained and cared for, pitches are nice and level, facilities are spotless, Karl and Julie are wonderful hosts with nothing too much trouble. Karl even supplied us with a 5amp fuse for our telly when ours had blown. Karl is also really knowledgable about the area and thanks to him we got see a couple of wonderful places we just wouldn’t have picked up on. The location is lovely and peaceful and there is excellent dog walking just a few yards away from the entrance. Hope to be back sometime soon.

We are just at the end of a 6 night stay & we’ve loved the site. Karl & Julie really can’t be better hosts & they always seem to be working to improve the place. The showers & toilets are kept spotless & the whole place just looks clean & tidy. The pitches are all grass but it’s very firm so no chance of getting bogged down, although there is also a static & cabin, with a hot tub, to rent. Anything we needed, Karl & Julie were there to help & give advise on where to visit etc. The site is only small, with 7 pitches, but each pitch is a good size & comes with electric hook up & a fresh water tap close by. There is also room for small tents around the trees which, at the moment are full of blossom & look lovely. The harbour is a 7-8 minute walk away where there is a good chippy and a couple of pubs & cafes (try the crepes The Quays cafe). We can’t wait to come back

Huge thanks to Carl and Julie for a wonderful 2 x week stay. Immaculate site and facilities..showers amazing plus fresh eggs. Lovely small and so so peaceful, just what we needed. Advice was on hand for best fish and chips, ice cream etc which we fully took!. Due to work constraints, we can only get away at short notice, but we couldn't have had a better break. Wholeheartedly recommend and we will be back...soon...

I just want to thank Julie and Karl for their hospitality during our stay. The camp site and facilities are spotlessly clean and tidy. Both made a fuss of my dogs. All other campers very friendly and as it is a small site, we got to know each other. I’ve come away with a new friend. They are not accepting tents from next year which is a shame as I would have re-booked..

We’d like to take the opportunity to say thanks to Karl and Julie for their advice and help on our first ever camping trip last weekend, it proved to be invaluable!! Their site is a small adults only campsite in a wonderful spot in Anglesey.. the facilities are kept spotlessly clean and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mount View to anyone that likes a nice chilled out camping break. We will be returning for sure in the not too distant future.

A solutely beautiful place that's immaculately kept. Karl the owner is a very friendly and chatty person where nothing is ever any trouble. The site was so so clean and quiet, they only have about 7 pitches from memory so it's never too busy. Would visit and recommend to all.

Karl and Julie are superb hosts of the friendly adults only camp site. Perfect campsite for me and the girlfriend and the dog for a quite weekend away. Great location 5 mins away from the port with great pubs and chip shops. Facilities were spot less with great hot showers. Cheap and cheerful site with EHU. Great local walks to the coastline and to the copper trials. Will definitely be revisiting the great campsite in the near future for another weekend away.

Enjoyed a pleasant break on this small adult only site. Karl, the owner was very welcoming and clearly puts a lot of effort into looking after and making improvements to the site. Covid restrictions limited what facilities on the park we could experience, but everything seemed to be very well maintained. We observed the on site cabin would be good to bring some friends with you who did not have a tent, caravan or motorhome. The site was in a lovely quiet location, a short walk from the Anglesey Coast Path. I would recommend getting the bus from Amlwch (opposite Co-op store) to Cemaes Bay and walking back - great walk. Good daytime snack cabin/ice creams at Amlwch Port 5 minute walk away and there is also a good Indian take away in Amlwch village which delivered food to the site for us.

Just had a week's holiday in the pod.Excellant facilities inside spotlessly clean throughout the camp site, toilets and shower rooms inspected hourly by Julie. Julie and Karl excellent hosts who share their, local knowledge and give good tips on where to go and where to eat out.Enjoyed it so much booked again for next year. Ideal location for site seeing around the island.

Simple can’t understand why this site has these rave reviews!! This site is very small, the owner crams ,tents caravans and motorhomes into, what basically is a back garden. The owner constantly pesters you with his impromptu visits to your outfit, which is intrusive and frankly,a bit creepy.Pitches are very close together, this in itself a COVID risk,as well as a significant fire hazard. There is no fire fighting equipment and no alarm system,a fire bell ,for example.Pit fires are allowed on site in close proximity to the next tent, resulting in airborne cinders ,possible landing on tents....There are far better, safer sites on the island...........
