Back to nature wild trip….but with all the comfort you could ever ask for!
The hosts couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay special and more comfortable (during storm Kathleen!) but gave us enough space so we felt like we were in control of our own experience.
The safari tent/lodge was so spacious and well stocked with essentials - and a few luxuries like twinkly fairy lights, hot water bottles and a well equipped kitchen. Staying during a horrendous storm had me feeling anxious, but the safari tent was so sturdy and safe, it put my mind at rest having my kids in there.
The site is such a special, magical little place to explore and play, and get back to nature - even my husband and I were having dips in the stream, playing in the trees and making mud kitchen soup!
Lovely hot shower, ample bed space with really heavy, comfortable duvets, loads of storage and seating for all the family!
Loved this place, as did my kids - they will remember this place for a long time.

We have just come back from 5 days at wonderfully wild. It was fantastic!! The location is perfect, you feel quite isolated but it's actually not far at all to local amenities. The surrounding area is beautiful. Peace and quiet is a guarantee, we loved the fact that the tents were so spaced out we didn't need to worry about our dog Getting up to mischief!! Loved the fact that there was clearly enough room for at least 2 more tents the owners have chosen not to capitalise on this fact. This is a massive plus for us and shows that the owners want visitors to have the most relaxing and authentic time in the wild. Tents had everything we could possibly want, and Victoria even did an emergency toilet roll dash for our son!!! 😄😄 Customer service or what!!! We will definitely be back as I want to hear the dawn chorus and see those wild flowers in spring! Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Not a bad word to say about Wonderfully Wild, loved our stay , we had great weather and an amazing lightning storm . Felt safe and warm inside our safari tent. The hot tub was a added luxury, the shower had great pressure and hot water. If we ran short on anything , it was delivered quickly , and the owls at night were very vocal, which we loved . We will definitely be returning.

As much as this is a lovely breakaway from the ''real world'' it also screams separation from civilisation. It is not well advertised that the place has very limited electric facilities (the ''caban'' only has 1 USB port that worked to charge a phone... if you even use a USB anymore in 2024). The communal ''caban'' has a lot of games that even the charity shop wouldn't sell as they are all broken and mismatched. The hot tub took all day and a LOT of logs to warm up, by the time it was even warm enough to use it was still only 25 degrees (after at least 6 hours of chucking logs into it).
However, the company of the stay was fantastic, and is perfect for low maintenance families that can make light out of any situation (especially when all the rechargeable lanterns die and you're in complete darkness on the first night).
I personally think this would be a great place to stay if some more thought and attentiveness went into it and is not referred to as ''glamping'', it is a step up from camping in a 4 man tent. The tents are beautiful and in such a picturesque location, with lots of space. But the facilities really need some TLC.
For anyone stopping here in the future, make the most of what you've got and just have a laugh. I would personally recommend it would be better staying in the summer as it was freezing and we had a massive storm during our stay, which wasn't very enjoyable.
Overall, not what we expected from the website and price, but a great stay nonetheless with great family, but could also be 100x better as there is so much potential.

oh I was so sad to read this review and feel great disappointment ... If only you'd asked for assistance we could have sorted out things for you - we are a small family run business and we live on site so are always around to help when needed. We are available for guests 24/7 and all previous reviews do mention that we are accommodating and helpful when needed and when asked. Sadly we cannot do anything about the weather and it was pretty awful the weekend you were staying - its had managing expectations when its like that but I'm glad that you had some good times with friends and family. Victoria

We had the most fantastic stay at Cwt Coch,Victoria had thought of everything when setting up this site. Beautiful located, limited tents,v clean, fabulous little games/useful hut (the children loved playing chess, giant cards, draughts to name a few and read some of the children's books on offer ) lovely touch. Ice packs available in the freezers and even firewood and coal. But what made it for our family of 4 was the peacefulness and surroundings -simply stunning . The Little Red Hut was great full equipment,v cosy and a very comfortable bed. We will definitely be highly recomming this gorgeous, well equipped, stunning site to all and will be back. Thank you . The Riley Family

We had a fantastic stay at wonderfully wild in the lodges as three families with a lodge each. So much room for the kids to run around and play games. Beautiful setting. Lots to do nearby. Lovely spacious but cosy lodges. Well kitted out. Really attentive owners who always responded to any queries we had both before and during our stay! Highly recommend

We stayed as a group in three of the safari tents, absolutely fantastic, well equipped, comfortable, clean, everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The littler ones enjoyed the mud kitchen and everyone enjoyed the wood fired hot tub and the loverly views. Shame we had a very rainy day but felt so cosy inside with the rain drumming down on the canvas.
Victoria the perfect host, there if you need anything. We left a precious Teddy, it arrived in the post a few days later. Thank you so much.

Beautifully peaceful and quiet location. The cabins were comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and the hosts were great and very welcoming. The lodges are well spaced out away from neighbouring lodges and there is a great open space in front of all of them for family games. We had a hot tub which was a welcome treat at the end of the day. Thank you for allowing us to share this experience.

Huge super comfy tents, the biggest we’ve stayed in on a glamping holiday. The veranda is lovely to watch the sunset on or shelter if a bit windy. Beds comfortable and shower hot. The site is peaceful, you are far away from the other tents, and the children can explore solo. Surrounding areas have beautiful walks and lots of activities too. Owners really helpful and friendly. Couldn’t fault it and will be coming back!
