Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

What a fantastic B&B from the minute we walked in to the minute we left, after our host (Clere) had given us the tour she surprised us with cake and scones, the lounge area which was very comfortable and if it got a bit chilly of a night time supplying lovely blankets there is also a dining table you may use if you wish, the bedrooms and bathrooms were of a very high standard and spotlessly clean, they even supply little bottles of fresh milk for your tea and coffee. The breakfast was excellent such high quality. I could go on for ages praising this B&B there was nothing that was too much trouble, Clere and her husband were so friendly and welcoming, I would strongly recommend this B&B to anyone we will most definitely stop there again. Good luck to them both for the future. Janet & Steve Jones

A beautiful house with an amazing location and view! Loved every minute there ♥️ The breakfast was 10/10. The bedroom was quiet and very homey. It was like sleeping on a cloud in the comfortable bed ☁️ There are nice paths for walking the coast but most of all I enjoyed being “home”

An excellent B&B in a lovely part of North Wales. Highest possible standards in respect of quality, design and most importantly beds you do not want to get out of. Unlike many UK B&Bs, the shower has power. Top class service from the owners! The place overlooks the bay and there is a short walk to the village and the pubs.

An absolutely brilliant place to stay. A lovely friendly greeting from Claire when we arrived.. Instantly I felt comfortable walking into The Castellor it is beautifully decorated with lots of homely items such as extra blankets on the settee, books to read and views to relax and reflect, a place to sit and eat a meal. Claire made us a cup of tea and we had cake on arrival. Everything was pristiene and spotless. The bed was amazing so plush and comfy. I was blown away by the amazing breakfast Rob prepared I had fruit divinely presented which has to be top class. The salmon and scrambled egg were amazing, I wonder what the secret ingredient is!! It certainly had me guessing. A lovely touch to breakfast time was that once Claire had brought us the breakfast she ensured the kitchen door was closed and it was nice and peaceful to eat, unlike other places where you can hear the clatter in the kitchen. The Castellor is within easy walking distance of the coastal path and the village. There is such a calm and relaxing feel to the whole place. I definitely recommend a stay here to unwind and switch off. Thank you Claire and Rob.

Thank you for your glowing review, we aim to ensure a wonderful visit for our guests. It’s good to know we are succeeding. A little double cream and onion salt seasoning to our locally sourced eggs give them that extra special touch. Hope to see you again!

We had been counting the days until we returned here after first staying in April 2022 and we weren't disappointed. We initially came as guests back then but left as friends and it was fantastic to be welcomed back as friends. Gorgeous spotlessly clean establishment furnished in such a stylish way, Claire could be an interior designer if she gave up this job and Rob's talents in the kitchen at breakfast are extended to the amazing cakes and scones he makes for the guests. Gorgeous room, comfy bed, sumptuous pillows, walk in shower, fantastic array of teas in the room as well as delicious local ground coffee and a cafetiere which is something we've never had elsewhere. Delicious Welsh breakfast with locally sourced produce, fantastic views and close proximity to the beach, harbour, headland walks and the high street. I could go on but all you need to know is that this is the only place to book for your stay in Cemaes Bay or indeed Northern Anglesey, we certainly won't be staying anywhere else. Thanks for making our stay so perfect, we can't wait to come back!

Staying at Castellor feels like a 5 star experience! Much more of a boutique hotel than a bed and breakfast. Claire is the hostess with the mostest, friendly, charming and nothing is too much trouble. The attention to detail both in the gorgeously decorated rooms and the rest of the house is faultless. Our bed was so comfortable and the little things like fresh milk and home made cakes on arrival are what sets this lovely place apart. The breakfast room has the most amazing view of the bay and the choice of food and presentation second to none. We cannot rate this place highly enough. A must place to stay in Anglesey.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Castellor. What a beautiful B&B this is. The view from the dining room across the bay is wonderful. Beautifully decorated throughout. Comfy bed and Claire and Rob are wonderful hosts, great breakfast and lovely cake too! Will definitely be going back.

Our 3rd visit to Castellor and another fabulous stay. We feel that Rob and Claire are old friends even though we only met them for the first time last year. As hosts go they are without parallel, as is the accommodation and breakfast, cakes etc.
