Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wonderful find that was dog friendly and also catered for my daughter who has celiac disease with a fantastic gluten free menu. Staff were immediately friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was very inviting and relaxed. Couldn’t find any faults. Staff were attentive and food was brilliant, everyone in the family enjoyed their meals. Would 100% recommend. Thankyou The Anglesey Arms :)

Called in for lunch, good old fashioned service, lovely smiley welcome (makes all the difference) nothing too much trouble, smashing food and drink at reasonable prices and free parking right outside the door. Would definitely call again if in area.

I've had many delicious meals here but I was disappointed with the food I was served 22nd March 2024. The gluten free battered cod was 80% batter, 20% fish. It was sent back. The 2nd meal was better but not the standard I'd expect- chips tasted like they'd been reheated. I did eat the food as I was so hungry and everyone else on the table were nearly finished by the time I received the replacement meal. The waiting on staff were apologetic and I was given a free coffee but that came with a gluten containing biscuit when I'd informed staff I needed gluten free food due to coeliac disease!

I already enjoy staying at the Anglesey Arms. But this trip after a long drive, although was told meals would be served until 9, the kitchen stopped serving at 7pm, so I had to look around for somewhere else to have a meal. An evening walk around Beaumaris was in the end a nice treat. I had a lovely stay.

Visited the Anglesey Arms yesterday with a group of friends. Had a fabulous lunch, the Sea Bass was very tasty with sautéed potatoes and a zingy salsa. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was exceptional. We sat in the conservatory with a lovely view of the garden. A big thank you to all the team for looking after us.
