Excellent. Mary and Gary were excellent hosts, very friendly. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the island and a variety of attracions on the island. Plenty of information in the bedroom and breakfast room. The breakfast was excellent and filling. Nothing was any trouble for them.

I stayed in the cottage with my partner & parents. Mary was lovely to deal with from start to finish. She was there to welcome us, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. There are 2 cottages and her main house (which is B&B) in the grounds. The whole place is stunning, in a fabulous spot, spotlessly clean with everything you need. If your planning a stay in Anglesey and want something special then look no further, I cant recommend Bryn Awelon highly enough. Thank you so much Mary, Im sure it wont be long before we will be booking again.

We have just had a wonderful week in Y Bwthyn which had everything we needed from a self catering cottage. The true highlight of this cottage is its location - sweeping views down the hill to Moelfre (where you can even see the lifeboat station) and then out to sea. This was a view we never tired of and the windows in the lounge let you enjoy it from the comfort of the sofa too - perfect! Although we steered clear of too much cooking, there is a good size fridge and freezer for all your goodies, a single oven and a microwave, and the cupboards are full of everything you need to create your kitchen masterpieces. Also, there is a TV in the lounge and both bedrooms which was fabulous as this meant I could successfully avoid the World Cup - happy holidays for him and happy holidays for me! On top of everything that is wonderful about Y Bwthyn, one of the biggest highlights of the stay are Gary and Mary who make their home feel like your home - it is a pleasure to get back to Bryn Awelon each night and we will continue to visit them for many years to come - the BIGGEST thank you from us!

We turned up without a booking and were welcomed to the Cottage. It was a delightful two day stay and the weather held up beautifully. Mary could not do enough for us and if we are in the area again we will definitely choose to stay here.

Lovely accomodation, very high standard. Everything you would want to find in a holiday cottage. Perfect for a family short break to discover Anglesey. The cottage was warm and cosy with great views towards the sea.

My friend had booked accommodation here for last weekend. I was anxious as I normally stay in good hotels. The cottage and accommodation completely exceeded my expectations. There was a fully fitted modern kitchen, an amazing well equipped utility room complete with washer, separate dryer and freezer. All situated so if you had a muddy walk you could get in and cleaned up without messing up the kitchen/ lounge area. The beds were comfortable with modern ensuite shower. Mrs Mary Thomas the owner was very friendly and helpful and cooked a very generous breakfast. I will return to enjoy excellent Welsh hospitality. Thank you Mary.

I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend break here. I was given a very warm welcome by Mary and Gary - they made sure everything was just right and had lots of tips and advice about what was going on locally and where to visit. The place was very easy to find, quiet and peaceful and well-located for exploring Anglesey. My room was very comfortable with a beautiful view over the garden and towards the sea. The breakfast was fantastic, setting me up for the day and plenty of choices to cater for different tastes. As there are just three guest rooms, it means you are given personalised attention at all times. I'd definitely go back!

Bryn Awelon is a really, really nice place to stay on Anglesey. We stumbled upon it by accident after we were let down by another B and B and found Bryn Awelon on line. The booking process was a pleasure as was our welcome from Mary on our arrival. Our room was lovely with a perfect view over the fields with the sea in the background and in the garden was a pheasant and numerous swallows diving for food. The next morning breakfast was excellent with a good choice and a perfectly cooked breakfast. I can thoroughly recommend Bryn Awelon.
