If you like to eat or drink in an atmosphere of dog hairs floating around and landing on your food or the possibility of fleas jumping on to you from a dog then The Valley restaurant is for you. Yes there is another area free from animals but really should a restaurant allow animals in - you decide - personally...

After a recommendation from a friend, we booked two nights at The Valley. Upon arriving, we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. The premium family room provided two separate sleeping areas and gave our 11-year old daughter a chance to shut the door and watch her DVDs! The decor was classy and there was very little...

Starters were nice but main meals very disappointing, mash potatoes were very dry and they were either frozen or instant mash, very hard vegetables not cooked enough, I did ask for no peas and ended up getting peas and not a lot of gravy, lasagne was all cheese and no meat and the garlic bread was rock hard

I stayed five nights on a business trip in a single room. The room was small but clean. There was no heating in the bathroom and the week I stayed was cold. The noise from the road can be quite loud at times The breakfast was adequate and the evening meals were a mixed bag. The battered cod was huge...

We had the pleasure of staying overnight after a long drive up from London. We arrived around dinner time. We were welcomed at reception and went up to our room (no sign of a lift). Back down to the restaurant for dinner. Great food choice , generous servings and fairly priced. The room was comfortable. Walls were a bit thin,...

Have lived on the island and was returning for 1 night B & B. On the positive side the room was spacious and clean if a little old fashioned, there was some road noise but not sufficient to stop a good nights sleep. The hotel public rooms look good and the staff friendly but where the visit fell down was...

After travelling from Dublin we did not want to face a long car journey. The ideal place to rest up was found. Nice friendly place with food and drink was found at The Valley. The staff were very friendly and offered advice on places to possibly travel to in Anglesey.

Great spot to stay and explore Angelsey, plenty of shops and a mile from Holyhead. Tredauer bay is walkable and there is an excellent cafe at Penrhos where you can walk the dog. Great chip shop on the high street, Enochs which is worth a visit. Very friendly people.
