Room 5 for a super king bed with a view to the hills, plenty of storage, a small seating area. Modern bathroom with a shower (not very powerful, but fine, no bath). The room is at the top of the house. No lift, but your host will carry bags!! Choose breakfast from a list the night before and it is...

Wonderful sea view even on miserable January days. Bathroom warm, spotlessly clean and plenty of room. No shower tucked in a cupboard here. The bedroom was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Had everything you need and more for a comfortable warm stay. Breakfast was well cooked, plenty of choices to be made re fruit, cereal, porridge and the great cooked...

The room was superb including a sea facing balcony. Free Wi-fi, hairdryer, Digital TV and Coffee and tea facilities. I stayed in Room 4 which is a single en-suite which was ideal for my weekend. Breakfast is included and full range of options are on offer at a time to suit

We returned to The Arthur staying three nights in room 5. We cannot recommend it highly enough. A lovely spacious room, spotlessly clean, an excellent breakfast and Maggie & Jack are such friendly hosts.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights on 13th and 14th July. The house and room were very nice and Maggie and Jack, the owners, were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them which made it a very enjoyable stay. The breakfasts were superb.

Attractive modern decor, spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet, and in an ideal position on the seafront. Everything so immaculate I thought it had been newly refurbished, but apparently not: it's just always like this! Friendly hosts and a tasty breakfast with generous portions were the icing on the cake. An ideal place to stay. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful find! A lovely, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean hotel overlooking the sea with a wonderful breakfast. But its Maggie & Keith who make all the difference. So welcoming and accommodating - even when my sister and her children turned up in the rain as they were locked out of the caravan (and we were locked out of our...

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Arthur Guest House, which has a lovely position on the sea front. The sound of the sea was a restful backdrop to a good night's sleep. There was a good choice at breakfast and the communal area downstairs is well laid out with a range of local information, including maps and walks. The...

Recently spent a weekend at the Arthur Guest House in Tywyn with my wife and 3 teenage children. We had the sea view double and the family room. The rooms were very clean, well equipped and spacious. The breakfasts were excellent - plenty of choice and all freshly prepared. The hosts, Jack and Maggie, were very helpful and friendly. I...
