Awful . Grimy unkempt and smells grimy as soon as you walk in the door . I have only ever given one other guest house a bad review … this one is the worst i have ever stayed it . The owner Colin, is disinterested and mentioned he has sold the property but ticking along until new owner takes it on . The lack of TLC is apparent from the moment you step over the threshold . We were met by a grumpy Colin who did not appear interested in his guests at all . The building is old - fair enough but the furnishings , bedding and shower are also very dated. Pillows seen better days . The mattresses are very old The curtains - well i have thrown out better. Couldn’t wait to leave .we left a day early . Breakfast mediocre , tasteless eggs , bacon cooked too long . We arrived at breakfast 5 mins early - got grunted at by Colin that we were 10 mins early . I pointed to the clock , it was only 5 mins early - he promptly pulled out a chair and struggled onto it - and changed the clock back 10 mins !! . I read many reviews re this place - always giving the benefit of the doubt some people are ridiculously fussy - but 4 STAR THIS AIN’T … We will be complaining to Booking. Com - Don’t go to this Guest house !

Great value for money. Clean and spacious room. I stayed in room 1 and woke to the sound of bird song. A perfect location as quiet but a short walk in to town. The owner Colin could not have been more helpful and welcoming and the breakfast delicious. My complements to the chef.

Pleasant owner, accommodating of late arrival. Basic2/3 star room, reminded us of a hostel. Average breakfast nothing to write home about. Noticed floors in dining area were unclean. Dated guest house. Probably wouldn't stay again, wish them luck. Spotted guest homes closer to Skomer on the route over.

For the price paid this was good value for money. We found it handy having a fridge in the room, and the beds were so comfortable! The hairdryer was brilliant, which is rare for hotels/B&Bs. The breakfast was also bang on, with plenty of options if you don’t fancy a cooked breakfast. If I was being picky, I would say plugs being accessible would have been handy, both me and my friend had to crawl under the beds to charge our phones. The tiles in the bathroom weren’t stuck to the floor, and the water pressure in the shower was poor. I think £2 for 24 hour parking across the road is a bargain personally. The wifi was also very good, and connectivity great. Overall, good value, would stay again if I was in the area. Although, warning, there seems to be literally nowhere to eat in the evening in Haverfordwest.

Parking is the major problem, there is none on site. The owners do not have permits for their guest. the choices then are a nearby carpark or on the road where the residents restrictions do not apply. I used the latter, I did not incur any issues, We were in Bedroom 9 for one night. The furniture is cheep and cheerful. We had a refrigerator but without any other facilities it was not used. A clock/radio was not plugged in, a suitable socket was not evident. The beds were not too bad, at last we got some sleep. Breakfast has obviously improved recently. We were served by Colin with cereals, beverages then the ordered full Welsh breakfast. All very good.

We stayed here for one night on a cycling tour holiday. We were greeted by Colin who was very friendly. We had been a bit concerned before our stay by the negative reviews we read, but thankfully it was much better than we feared. The room was large and clean. It had a fridge, which was good, and a decent sized TV. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a bit odd: a choice of sandwiches, fruit juice and coffee which we had to collect and eat in our room. This was due to Covid restrictions. Other guest houses we stayed at got around the rules by having different sitting times. It’s a old house and in need of some internal updating, but overall, it was good.

Bed and breakfast? Rubbish bed and rubbish breakfast. Very unwelcoming, inflexible host who gave the impression that she couldn't be bothered. We had to order breakfast immediately we arrived hot and tired, couldn't even book into the room first. Only breakfast option was a bacon, sausage, egg sandwich and yoghurt despite the website saying full English. No cereal even though we asked. Room hot, noisy and up several flights of stairs. One of the mattresses had totally collapsed springs, brought to the attention of the host who refused to believe us but also refused to come and look. Mascerator toilet was inadequate and noisy. Furniture was cheap quality, mismatched with loose knobs and rickety wardrobe.

We had booked here to visit the Pembrookeshire coast what a dump, upon arrival we booked in at reception at the side of the stairs it was dirty and very untidy we received the key to room 9 mis matched furniture, cheap pine beds and lumpy mattresses had to have 3 pillows to make it feel as though I had one. THE BATHROOM had what looked like dog hair all over the floor went to complain but no one was round so after a tidy round we decided as we was out all day it would do until the night you could here next doors walking around, speaking on a phone dogs barking that we decovered were the owners they used the lawn outside to toilet but was not cleaned up we stayed until we could book elsewhere AND COULD NOT WAIT TO GET OUT
