Detailed Reviews

Booked as a nearby location to stay that was close to Skomer Island (30mins away). Beautiful location, lovely hosts, every Minute detail taken care of. There is no road running past, so only the sounds of birds and the occasional dog or cow, but mostly blissfully quiet. Karen has thought of everything in terms of the room, including plenty of plug/usb sockets; biscuits and fresh milk to go with the abundance of tea and coffee; and even radox bath soak for the bath, absolutely amazing. The bed was also massive which is always a plus. The breakfast both mornings we stayed was excellent, and can safely vouch that the hot food we had (Full English/Poached eggs on toast/omelette) was delicious and full of flavour. Highly recommend and will hopefully be back in the near future.

Wonderful, friendly B & B with the attention to detail of a five star hotel. We loved it and would recommend it unreservedly.
Karen was a perfect hostess and made us feel very welcome. The individually prepared breakfast was very tasty and beautifully served.

We were welcome by Karen to a warm arrival. Karen asked if we would like fresh milk to take to our room, which came in a small milk bottle. Our room overlooked the countryside with lovely views. Spotlessly clean with a super size bed, with a big en-suite. Lovely white towels. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of choices. Karen gave us a list of pubs to visit that served delicious food. It was raining one morning Karen lit the fire for us until the rain went off.I would not hesitate to recommend to a great place to stay. Hopefully we will return.

Off the beaten track, but very easy to find with the detailed instructions provided by Karen. Signage was pretty good too. We were also sent a list of pubs in the area that provide evening meals, which was really helpful. This attention carried on in the rooms and makes makes East Hook farm a lovely place to stay.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and found East Hook Farmhouse to be everything we expected. We had booked a double room with en-suite shower but on our arrival Jen, our host, thought we’d be more comfortable in a larger room with private bathroom as it had a king size bed. We much appreciated her suggestion. The room was very comfortable and well equipped with tea making facilities, fridge, tv, hairdryer and even iron and board plus an electric fan. Complementary shower gel, soap, shampoo and beautiful soft towels in the bathroom.
Breakfast was delicious with cereal, fruit, yogurt and full cooked, toast and jam.
The whole place was so beautifully quiet and tranquil.
We were made extremely welcome byJen and nothing was too much trouble.
Congratulations on an extremely smoothly run establishment Jen. We shall certainly be back. Thankyou

Perfect spot to explore Pembrokeshire from. Located just outside Haverfordwest at the end of a winding lane and surrounded by countryside. Karen was a lovely, friendly host, cooking our breakfast exactly as we wanted, and giving us lots of information about the local area. Our room was clean, tastefully decorated and came with a tv, fridge, kettle, coffees, teas and biscuits. Karen provided us with fresh milk for our morning coffee. The mornings were so peaceful and quiet, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We loved being welcomed by Karen and her family at East Hook. The property is beautifully located and we felt that everything had been done to make us feel very comfortable and at home. We really also appreciated the trouble Karen had gone to in recommending local places to eat. The ones we tried were all excellent.

We had a very comfortable stay at East Hook where Karen is an extremely attentive hostess who takes pains to ensure guests have everything they could want to enjoy their holiday in a lovely setting. Our room, the Preselli room(Bedroom 1) overlooked the garden and fields beyond, was spacious and offered a most comfortable king size bed. Sleeping was not a problem! Great location for touring the area. Would recommend the Cambrian Inn at Solva. Many thanks Karen.
