This is a most unique place to visit and had changed very little in essence in the 37 years when I last stayed there. The setting is beautiful, the hospitality is amazing and the food is excellent. My husband thought it was probably one of the most bonkers places he has ever stayed in but would be very happy to... More

We booked on a sat to have Sunday lunch here the next day. We booked for 1.30 but were a little late...but this was no problem to them. Well what can I say?..... It's like walking into someone's home..in fact it's exactly that! Everyone had wellies on, we're dressed very casual, dogs everywhere!! Very welcoming & friendly staff. Very chilled... More

Very disappointed with the food .....and it's a long journey to be disappointed. Starter Herring very plain bland and just bad..... certainly not fresh! Mains not much better and we all agreed very lack lustre experience. There is a very strange way to order here so no service as such.... better if they had a waiter. You don't really know... More

Our wedding weekend couldn't have been any better, magical in fact. The team at the Dru could not have worked harder, everything was perfect, all those little details from the food, flowers, fire pits & marsh mallows, the decorations, the cake ( OMG the cake was amazing ) the fireworks spectacular & the care & friendliness shown to all our... when I visited the Druidstone with my Partner, our Daughter and my Brother & Sister-in-law. We dined a la carte: 5 starters, good, 5 mains, good, 5 puddings, OK. Some random ingredients, parsnip crisps with chicken breast and also with a potato & garlic dip. A comment that the sea bass may not have been too fresh. Banoffee pie with... More

Lovely weekend spent at this quirky boutique hotel on the Pembs coast, Arrived Friday evening and checked into the attic bedroom with its own. Alcott overlooking the sea, This hotel may not be to everyone's liking a bit like marmite I guess It's got a very homely feel and got some great features like a cellar bar Food is great... More

We stayed at the Roundhouse just down the drive from the hotel and it was everything we had hoped for. It was wonderfully peaceful with uninterrupted views out to sea - the choice of seating areas meant we could move to the best spot to catch the sun and enjoy the sun go down. The wood burning stove made the... More

Staying about 8 miles away and went on 4 occasions for coffee and lunch and to sit in the wonderful garden and enjoy the view. Wonderful off-beat atmosphere and staff. it was difficult to find as there are no notices about it, but after asking we made it and it was very well worth it. Superb coffee and different food,... We have been to Druidstone several times before to look at the art and have a cup of tea. Everyone had raved about the place as a restaurant so we went with some friends who have eaten there many times for lunch during the week. We had the Houmous as a shared starter and our friends had a chowder and... More
