Easter Sunday Lamb dinner was delicious. Wish they served lamb here more often. Staff lovely but could have asked if all ok during the meal. Music good. Only improvement would have preferred the plate to have been piping hot. Also I found the cartoon film on the TV a bit random.

I booked the County Hotel on business for a musician playing in the local area for the evening. I was disappointed to be told the next day that he could not enter the premises after the performance. We were told about the key situation, one for the lobby and one for the room. My client seemed to have some trouble with the key, so tried to knock on the door and ring the doorbell as we were told there was a night porter on site. Unfortunately after around 20-30 minutes of trying he decided to give up and travel back to Bristol at 2 in the morning. I have just been to the hotel to try and clear up the confusion and express my concern, to which the manager on site asked me why he couldn't 'just google the number'. Not very helpful, this is for someone who travelled quite a distance just to turn around and go back after his performance. We did not receive a refund for the room or the car park, neither of which were utilised. I have also heard rumours from the evening that some local boys had successfully sneaked into the premises to which the police were called. This raises a few security issues, and does not make me feel comfortable booking VIPs in to stay. I have given two stars, as the check in was smooth and the concierge was friendly and informative. I also really respect the prices considering the hotel looks really lovely and the rooms do too. It's just a shame they couldn't be utilised. It is sad to experience management react so dismissively towards this issue, basically blaming us for the problems. I can't understand why there was no response to the door bell ringing, maybe he was busy dealing with uninvited guests..?

Stayed in this hotel on new years eve. On checking in at the bar all seemed nice and friendly. Asked if they were serving meals that evening and was told no, so asked if we were to go out for food would we loose our parking spot, was told it would be ok as the hotel was only half full. On checking in were told there was a karaoke that night and we would hardly hear it, but what she forgot to mention was that our room was directly on top of karaoke. Phoned down to see if we could be moved to another room as it was extremely noisy and couldnt even concentrate on tv as it was so loud. Tried phoning downstairs and they finally answered 3rd time, probably couldnt hear phone ringing. Asked if we could me moved to a quieter room and was told the hotel was FULL , but the girl we seen on checking in had already told us they were half empty. Complained in morning and were told they would sort something out for us as a good will gesture for the noice. I must say staff are lovely face to face but thats as far as it goes. More faces than the town clock, as nobody has been in touch and its now Jan 19th. So if you stay at this hotel and you have a problem be aware theyre customer care is non existent, i would go as far to say they have never heard of customer service. Recently stayed at a Premier Inn just about half a mile up the road with lovely restaurant next door, really good value for money and really looked after us.

Just had 3 nights here in one of the budget rooms. Very clean, comfy beds, iron, lots of tea and coffee, great location, parking etc. Downside - but of a leaking shower and a crack in the sink but didn’t affect our stay. Best value stay in the town, no frills and would stay here again.

Overall a good, standard hotel. The staff were friendly and polite. They clearly have a good attitude towards customers and work hard to please them. However, the reception/bar area felt sticky, tacky and unwelcoming. Being greeted by a bar and loud guests after a long, tiring journey isn’t ideal. The hotel as a whole could do with some TLC, but I was pleasantly surprised at the modern room. It was comfortable, fairly clean and very nice.

Had great few days in haverfordwest visiting family. The hotel is town centre so you are within walking distance to everything. Parking was 5.00 per night which I think is reasonable. Receptionist was a happy, informative lady who let us know about a show that was going on and other things in the area. We ate breakfast one of the mornings, there is plenty to choose from and tasty. Decor is superb, rooms had everything we needed and were very clean.
