I ran the second Yoga and Walking Weekend at the beginning of November. We all had such a great time. The bunk house is what you would expect but warm and en-suites. The cottage is so very comfortable. Beautiful dinning room in the cow shed. Graham and Ian could not have done any more to help (Ian even sorted the weather for us. ) The person who reviewed saying the signal is poor here is right. As it is in many areas of West Wales. This was a plus :-) I have booked for next year.

A group of 11 of us found ourselves stranded on a Saturday morning after trying to camp through a rainstorm - we almost gave up hope, but found this little gem online. We stayed in a shared house, split into three beds of bunk beds. Yes, it was very basic looking, but we had tea and coffee facilities, a games room they left unlocked for us, and they welcomed us so last minute and set the place up really nicely for us, we couldn't ask for more! Everything was at a good domestic clean and everything worked. The people at the site were really helpful, and nice and chatty if you wanted to talk but mostly left us to it. (A really nice touch was when we had no 50ps for the pool table in the games room and accidentally left the two pound coins we were going to use in the room, we came back later to find that they had changed them into 50ps for us!! - and they also gave us a bluetooth speak to use)
Considering we were so last minute, we had better service and accommodation that a lot of planned trips. We couldn't thank them enough for an amazing stay.

The phone reception service wasn't great, but not a bother for what we wanted it for. And the only suggestion I'd make is maybe getting a bigger kettle for the kitchen, as we had to boil it about 3-4 times to make everyone cups of tea! But this is nitpicking considering how amazing they were to us. :)

Zero internet connectivity as wifi was not working and overall area has no mobile signal. Accessible Wet bathroom is a hazard as floor accumulates puddles of water and no wipe available. Kitchen not clean. Few utensils had moss. No bin bag provided despite asking twice... a few lights not working and pillows were horrible. No support from manager or the resident warden.

Booked to stay within Skomer Lodge, which was immaculate and set up for us when arriving. Booked initially without any extras but the owners took the time to contact and find out more about our reason for the trip, which was for a Stag Do.

Graham took the stress out of arranging the event, arranging a BBQ, Breakfast, Go-Karting and even a large keg of locally made NewgAle for our arrival.
For us it was a long commute, but everyone who made it said it was worth the long drive.

Location was in a beautiful place in South West Wales, and one I'd love to return to again soon. It's approximately 20 minutes away from the nearest town which had a fair few decent pubs, and a decent curry house in Taj Mahal.

Advice here is to browse taxi firms in advance as our chosen one slapped on "booking fees" which weren't advised before the journey and therefore came to £111.60 for the group to go one way. Not a reflection on the lodge, nothing to do with them.

Rooms were warm, clean, same for bathroom facilities. Skomer has plenty of room for large groups, and allowed for people to socialise all over, we had intense conversations around the beer keg, and a Mario Kart tournament in the next room.

Mobile Phone signal was patchy, but the included WiFi access was solid with good speeds allowing for communication home.

Stag absolutely loved his stay, everyone commented on how great the place was, so I'm pretty happy with how it's all gone down!

This is primarily a place for large groups, but there are hotel rooms too. It's in the middle of nowhere, so if you want quiet, this is it. But no restaurant for many miles, and the bar isn't open. You're only a few miles from the beach and great hikes which is nice, but it's really off the beaten path. The woman who runs it is delightful.

Thank you for your review Ken. We appreciate feedback from all of our guests, including constructive responses. We are disappointed to hear that you did not appreciate the tranquillity and serenity that Newgale Lodge offers. It is true to say that we are literally only 2.5 miles from Newgale Beach and that many pubs and restaurants in Pembrokeshire do require a short drive to get to them where ever you maybe located. Yes we do cater for large groups as well as offering Bed & Breakfast rooms in the old farmhouse cottage however with 1.7 acres of land, we believe that we can offer just as much, if not more than other Bed & Breakfast establishments. Pembrokeshire offers a wealth of things to do and we are disappointed to learn that your time here didn't meet your expectations. Warmest wishes

We had a lovely weekend stay at Newgale lodge. Birds cheeping and leaves rustling, such a wonderfully quiet location.
The lodge itself is clean and warm, well catered facilities including tea/coffee etc in the room, a small kitchenette downstairs and even a fully stocked bar.
Bathroom or more specifically shower is my 'thing' when staying away, the power shower here did not disappoint, clean powerful and hot!
Bed was super comfy, two singles (fitted together perfectly) made for a giant double, add the luxurious pillows and duvet... cozy!
A short drive to Newgale beach for a windswept walk along the low tide. We popped up to Solva for lunch and into Haverfordwest for dinner. All in all a lovely weekend break, perfect for unwinding and just switching off! (saying that the lodge did have wifi, so we were able to check emails etc).
We'll be back!

We are a group of 25 cyclists and 8 support staff on a sponsored charity ride from Rhyl to Cardiff. We found the accommodation excellent for our requirements. Facilities are excellent and very clean. If you are a large group I would highly recommend staying here.

We were a group of 10 people who went for a Yoga & Hiking weekend in Pembrokeshire in October and we had a super stay thanks to Newgale Lodge! The communication from the team was excellent and the value for money is outstanding! Newgale is located in a quiet place with open, green landscape surrounding the lodge so you will find tranquillity and peace just by being there. We stayed in one of the lodges and it was comfortable and clean, with a kitchen and dining space and ensuite bedrooms. Safe to say we would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful time at Newgale Lodge. The bunk house was exactly as described. Clean and tidy and perfect for families/groups of friends/school
Groups. Kitchen and bathroom suites slightly aged (avocado! Love it really) but clean and all works well. Tons of hot water, very comfy beds - fresh linens and clean mattresses. Food was brilliant. Staff were absolutely lovely. Grounds perfect for little lick about with kids etc. Great venue to explore Pembrokeshire from. We went coastering and on a boat trip organised by the Lodge and it was super.
Excellent value for money.
