Aiming to combine the best of Welsh and Irish hospitality, Steve and Orla would like to welcome you to Tŷ Boia B&B, a high quality Bed & Breakfast in St. Davids, the smallest city in the UK, nestled in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Centrally located, we are just a short walk to the historic St. David's Cathedral, Bishops Palace, local restaurants, cafe's and pubs, shops and galleries. The renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path is minutes away, as are the many beautiful beaches and coves this special place has to offer - whether you are walking, cycling, busing or driving. In addition to the amazing wildlife you can leisurely explore both on land and at sea, there is an abundance of activities to literally throw yourself at, be it coasteering, surfing or kayaking to mention a few. Please see our Explore page for links to local activities and events and we're always happy to share our local knowledge. Tŷ Boia offers private parking, bike facilities and the bus stop is about 50 yards up the street. The B&B has its own separate access, hallway and stairs, so there's no need for tiptoeing around, equally as beneficial to us as to you with our two young children!

We stayed at Ty Boia for 4 nights and it was a perfect stay. The room was spacious and super clean, and the bathroom is really modern. The hosts are absolutely lovely and completely make it; they kindly gave us lots of local knowledge, from good walks to the best ice cream spots. The breakfast is the best we have ever had in a B&B, really fresh and high-quality. The BnB was also really covid-secure, with hand sanitizer at the entrance and breakfast, staggered breakfast times etc. We cannot wait to return!

We arrived earlier than check in and were meet by Steve who showed us where to park, he told us our room would be ready by 12 and to use the key entry to get back in. The room was up a small flight of stairs, as there is a separate entry for guest. They have 4 rooms on 2 floors.
The room had an ensuite with a very powerful shower with plenty of hot water, amazingly huge white towels too. There is no tea or coffee in the room which we did miss but to be fair the breakfast room is open 24 hours for you to make tea or coffee to take to your room. The cakes supplied for you to take are so tasty!! Also fruit available. We choose the cook breakfast which were lovely, you get a choice of different breakfasts. You order what you would like the night before. A fantastic stay and thank you Steve and Orla for making us so welcome

This stylish B and B was our last 2 night stop after walking 50 miles on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. As accommodation goes we certainly saved the best until last! Our twin room had large, comfortable single beds and a spacious, well appointed bathroom with a very welcome hot power shower and big fluffy towels. Breakfasts were varied, very tasty and all diets were amply catered for. There was also an interesting range of specialist leaf teas, homemade bara brith and fresh fruit available at all times. Also Steve and Orla very kindly allowed us to leave a car with them while we walked. These two are fantastic hosts and I cannot recommend their lovely B and B enough!

While hiking a portion of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, my final three nights were at this perfectly situated and cozy B & B. A very short distance from the town center, I was greeted by Orla, who along with husband Steve own the B & B. Orla was the epitome of welcoming while showing me the breakfast nook and my room. Steve echoes that feeling when I encountered him the next morning at breakfast. They both have mastered the art of being helpful without being intrusive; I only saw them at breakfast, but knew that they were there if needed as they live on site. My ground floor room was small, but spotless and comfortable and the breakfasts were consistently excellent…try the avocado toast with poached eggs-awesome!
A very good stay!

We had such a wonderful stay in this lovely B&B. Steve and Orla are amazingly warm, friendly and welcoming hosts and were so helpful with sharing their vast local knowledge. Their walking route and restaurant tips were spot on. The area is truly stunning and this is a great base in the heart of St Davids (but in a quiet location) and very close to the beautiful coastal path. Private off road parking is a real bonus. Rooms are immaculate and comfortable with lots of nice touches. Steve's breakfasts are amongst the best we have had. Overall Ty Boia is perfect in every aspect and we would highly recommend. In terms of local tips we would recommend eating at The Bishops, The Shed or Sloop Inn at Porthgain and St Davids Gin Kitchen for something that extra bit special. Also use Falcon Boats for a boat trip round the local islands as they really are specialists and very knowledgeable.

The room has on suite ( very nice local toiletries also), everything is fresh and modern and well thought through for guests comfort.

Steve and Orla are very friendly, kind and hospitable and helped greatly with walking trip and everything was COVID compliant.

My wife and I spent two nights here in February. We were met warmly and the hosts were extremely helpful, even offering to give us a lift to the coast so that we could leave our car at the B and B when we went for a hike. The property is a 2-minute walk from the town centre and 3 minutes to St David's Cathedral. The breakfast they provided was really good too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Ty Boia is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed at, and I would love to return. I stayed here for 4 nights while sightseeing in St. Davids and walking sections of the Pembrokeshire Coastal path, and it was by far my favorite stay of my trip. Steve and Orla were very friendly and had excellent recommendations for what to eat and do while I was in the area.

The room itself was very comfortable, with an ample bed, TV, dressers, and chair. There was an ensuite bathroom with powerful shower, soft towels, and nice toiletries.

The breakfasts were absolutely superb, with many options and fresh ingredients. If you're open to new things, I'd recommend trying the Full Welsh with laver and cockles.

Steve and Orla are excellent hosts who couldn't do enough for us.
Our room was immaculate and the spacious en suite offered lovely, fragrant toiletries, fluffy towels and an excellent power shower!
My fiancé has a restrictive diet but this caused no problem to our hosts who provided a delicious breakfast.
Breakfasts are cooked to order and therefore piping hot. A good selection of teas, cereals and other breakfast items are also on offer.
We highly recommend this B and B.
