We came back because Joan is a great host, warm and friendly with a lovely little guest house near the cathedral. It is a cosy and traditional B&B, very clean and with a good breakfast. We had a fabulous view from our room and we were really happy to have a full sized bath rather than a shower. The TV in this room is very small but it fits perfectly into a recessed space on the wall and it is hard to see where a bigger TV would go. The last time we stayed we had a room with a larger TV so if size matters to you then you could phone or message Joan to let her know. We were happy with the mini TV and would ask for this room again. Thanks for a lovely stay Joan and we will be back.

We normally try and stay in hotels now but tried a couple of B&Bs on this trip around Wales and this one was fine and reasonably priced.
No car park but free parking down the narrow road next door but one (Entrance to the Cathedral). Limited spaces but we were lucky to get one but a larger car park not too far.
Our room was on the top floor with a double and single bed for 2 of us so not bad space.Great view over the cathedral. As an attic room there was a sloping roof over the bath so no shower. 2 flights of narrow stairs. The room was bright and airy and very clean if a bit dated. Safe Covid precautions too.
Everyone was friendly and there was a great cooked breakfast with just enough choice.
Would stay here again.
The Bishops pub has good real ale and serves great pub food at very reasonable prices and the Farmers Arms is great for a pint afterwards.

Glendower is in a central location in St Davids, so great for walking to the cathedral, shops, pubs and cafes and I was also able to walk to three nearby beaches and also along the coastal path. I had booked but arrived in the evening and had a warm welcome. The ensuite room was comfortable and cosy with tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The shower was hot and good pressure and I had a good night's sleep. The view of the cathedral from the window was a bonus. I had a delicious breakfast and my coeliac disease (gluten free) was well catered for with g/f cereal and bread. There was also yogurt and fruit available. I had a well cooked breakfast with juice and plenty of coffee. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They also very kindly let me leave my rucksack during the day which enabled me to explore without a big heavy bag. Thank you so much.

Clean room with comfy bed and great views (see photos). Lovely breakfast, slight mishap with the toast one morning but very quickly resolved. Gluten free breakfast was no problem at all. A little bit dated but that makes the place feel cosy. Would certainly stay here again. Great host made you feel really welcome and like nothing was too much trouble!

We booked last minute for a trip to Wales. From first contact the hosts were warm and friendly. The room was a bit date, however, it was very clean and welcoming and had everything that you need for a few nights away. The room was very quiet and extra pillows etc were in the room if needed.
Covid rules were in place and were stuck to. We felt very at ease.
The cooked breakfast was amazing and something that welcome for a full day of sightseeing ahead.
We will definitely going back to visit again.
A stones throw from St Davids Cathedral which was a worthwhile visit.
Thankyou so much for the wonderful stay. Helen and Ray no.7

Stayed on 2 separate occasions at Glendower through August and September. Really impressed at this traditional B&B the rooms were comfortable and above all clean. The top floor rooms 8&9 have stunning views across the cathedral, Bishops Palace and out toward the sea - nice to sit and have a hot chocolate to view the sunset. You get a decent breakfast always served efficiently and with a smile. It’s good to know St David’s has a top notch B&B at its heart. Ps no parking but always managed on the pebbles.

Jo is a delightful host and her dining room staff are all equally delightful! Breakfast was good and I gather the bacon was delicious!
Our room at the back of the house on the garden level was spacious and plenty of drawer space for clothes. usual paucity of hangers in the wall cupboard but we always bring a few with us anyway!
The bed was VERY firm which suited one of us rather more than the other!
The lovely view towards the coast was a compensation.
I do think that it is about time the towels were renewed, we found them very thin and as there is no heating in the bathroom, they stayed damp.
Pity the garden is out of bounds but can understand the extra work involved having to clean garden chairs.
Overall, an excellent town centre B&B but in high summer, parking may be a problem.

Stayed here for two nights to catch up with friends in St Davids & a birthday. Lovely clean and comfortable room, nice view of the Cathedral. Great breakfast and a warm welcome from the owner. Would recommend as in a great central location for Pubs, Food and exploring the area further.

Lovely little b and b clean and breakfast was lovely

Worth what we paid it was a pleasure to stay

I have given 3 stars only as I feel like most b and b we have stayed in could do with a bit of new decor and refurbishment. I know in these current times having work Don's can be hard.

Thankyou for making us feel welcome

A traditional Welsh B&B right in the heart of St Davids. I'd happily recommend and will return.

For £35 a night it was incredibly good value. A little old fashioned for some, perhaps. But I found it clean, comfortable and friendly, and perfect for walkers.
