Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location and clean etc. but as per my last visit to this hotel the breakfast service was really poor with a 50 minute wait for (badly cooked) food and the WiFi connection is still hit and miss. This hotel always feels short staffed and one member of staff was again constantly apologising to guests for basic issues and faulty equipment. Have decided to spend the remainder of our trip at Haverfordwest Permier Inn.

Second time at this Premier Inn and again was a great stay. The hotel is a modern, still quite new hotel and this shows as soon as you arrive. Parking is free, just register your car in arrival, and plenty of spaces too. Rooms were really clean, pretty standard for a Premier Inn but again as it's a new hotel this certainly comes through. Usual amenities inside the rooms. Staff friendly and offer a good customer service. The fact there is an onsite restaurant and bar is a great addition. We only had breakfast, buffet style, and this was excellent to start the day. The kids eat free made this very good value for money. Location is always key for us and the location here is excellent, few ways into the centre of St Davids but all within a 15-20 min, easy walk or a few minutes drive. It's only an hour's or so drive for us so for a quick few days away it is ideal. Highly recommend for a stay in St Davids, a beautiful city with some of the best countryside and coast around.

Room Tip: St Davids can get busy in peak times, so a quick walk from the hotel will save parking headaches.

Premier Inn at St Davids does exactly what it says on the tin: comfortable clean well priced accommodation at attractive building. Staff helpful, courteous and really "nice". Would recommend for a visit to this beautiful and fascinating part of Wales.

Amazing experience… perfect spot. Staff were really kind and helpful. It was quite busy. But one of the best places I’ve been among other premier inns. I would recommend staying at this place if you have few places to visit Pembrokeshire. Surroundings are beautiful.

After seeing the prices of air bnb properties and hotels I didn’t want to spend £400-£600 for a weekend away, seeing the Premier Inn was a 10-15 min walk from the shops and cathedral it was perfect. The room was great, breakfast was spot on and the young lady looking after us at breakfast worked very hard to please everyone and made sure we had everything we needed. She deserves some recognition and a bonus for the Saturday morning as it was very busy. Maybe another staff member would have helped too!

We stayed here for one night while visiting St David’s. We received a friendly welcome & as we chose a Premier Plus room we were located on the 2nd floor. This was our first time booking a premier Plus room & we were impressed. For the difference in price we had a mini fridge, coffee machine, bottled water & an amazing shower. The toiletries were upgraded Baylis’s & Harding but I personally prefer the fragrances in the standard rooms. An iron& ironing board were also included. The bed was comfortable as expected for a Premier Inn. It was unfortunate that the coffee machine was leaking (only water) & the carpet in front of the coffee machine was badly stained. We had dinner in the onsite restaurant - the food itself was great - hot & fresh. The 2 members of staff serving were friendly but seemed somewhat inefficient - we waited at least 1/2 an hour for drinks & even longer for a dessert menu to appear. The wait would have been more palatable if an explanation for the delay had been offered - it was unclear whether there were insufficient staff or whether one or both of them were new to the role/ business. Breakfast was good & the lady looking after us was very efficient & friendly & cleared plates & delivered food promptly with a smile. If we return to St David’s we would definitely stay here again

Nice Premier Plus room, spoiled by the leaking coffee machine and stained carpet. Dinner service was very slow sat down at 7pm and ordered drinks and food which both arrived 30 mins later. The rest of service continued in the same slow manner. The hotel appeared to be short staffed with just two people looking after reception, bar and the restaurant. The hotel was not busy but it took nearly two hours to finish dinner. The staff however were very friendly and welcoming, if only the there were more of them!

We wanted to stay at Premier Inn whilst doing a charity walk, the location of the hotel was the most important and this was reasonably priced and could host a big number of us. I opted for the premium room offering, considering how far I'd be walking the next day I wanted to be comfortable and the last premier inn I had stayed in was in London and it was not good at all. I liked how new this was, it was clean, it was reasonably modern. I expect basics and I have no problem with that, but what swayed me with the premium offer was the Nespresso machine as I hate instant coffee. So hats off there. Bits and bobs weren't up to scratch, WiFi was off the next day and apparently that night? Meaning there was no automated check in or check out, less staff meant longer waits. I had no towels in my room. This was awkward when I got out of the shower and realised I only had a hand towel to dry with...... When I asked at reception after dinner I was quickly provided with them, but for the premium room offering I should have had to ask at all. Facilities were good, TV remote use was questionable....as is the hairdryer. Apparently there's some sort of formula for using it but no instructions. I just tried to use it normally and it barely worked making me think it was faulty. I reported this on check out where I was informed there's some sort of method to using it...which for someone who has used hair driers for 34 years I found very peculiar. And my feedback would be, just leave some sort of instruction.. Bed was comfortable, ultimately the main thing I was there for.. wasn't sure it was a king bed...... but all the same I slept well so can't really complain.
