We were the first people to stay in the chalet after it reopened post-lockdown in July 2020. Initial impressions: spotless, peaceful, beautiful views, friendly owners, and the best stocked kitchen I think I've seen. Not just the continental breakfast (topped up through the week) but everything you could need to cater and more.
Diane our host provided a cot for our baby on his first holiday, and it was lovely chatting to her and the other people around the farm during our stay.
Remote working was very easy, with excellent wifi.
Access to St Davids, Solva, various beaches etc. is also very easy, with most within 5 minutes' drive, and ample parking at the property (being careful of the chickens).
The warm welcome even continued after we left - I realised once we were back that I had left my swimming trunks in one of the complementary beach towels, but they were returned to me, washed, in the post at no extra charge. Definitely beyond the call of duty!
Overall a great place to stay - we'll be back.

We stayed in the chalet between Christmas and New Year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break, with the added bonus that our dog could come with us. There is a fully enclosed garden which he enjoyed exploring.

The chalet was warm and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely selection of cereals, milk, bread, jam etc were provided so we could prepare our own breakfast.

Diane was on hand if we had any queries but not obtrusive at all. Really enjoyed chatting with her about the farm and their animals.

Lovely location between Solva and St David’s. We look forward to returning!

Looking for a B&B for a night, already very late, I saw a notice saying 'Farmhouse B&B' and knocked at the door. I was welcomed by a very cheerful Diane who made my 98 year old Mum and me so welcome that we stayed 2 extra nights. Diane was very accomodating to our particular needs and nothing was too much trouble. I thoroughly enjoyed being taken round the farm by Wayne to see the diverse collection of animals and newly hatched chicks.
Our room was large, bright and cheerful with a view of the farmyard where I could watch a very friendly chicken who had decided to live with their dogs.
It was a most hospitable and friendly B&B.

I found the B&B when looking for a place for my husband and I and my elderly parents to stay on our trip down memory lane to St. Davids and Solva. After hunting around the internet and not really finding much in my price range, I stumbled across Upper Clegyr. Located directly halfway between St. Davids and Solva it made for an excellent base. For those without cars, no problem! One evening, we decided to leave the car at home and got a taxi within minutes to take us into St. Davids for five pounds.

Set in its own farmland, I would describe this B&B as homely and boutique. The interior decoration is beautiful, each room with its individual style. We shared a bathroom with my parents. It was spacious, clean and really did feel like a home.

The breakfasts each morning were really fabulous. Very tasty indeed. The sitting room was always available for teas and coffees. And the hosts even made us very welcome inviting us in to check on some newly born chicks.

It really is a haven. I felt like I'd had a weeks holiday, rather than a two night stay. Its an affordable gem in between two very expensive locations. Great value for money. Peaceful, quiet and friendly. We're going back next year.

It has been a great pleasure to visit Diane's B&B. We were there at the end of June when my daughter and I visited West Wales for the first time.
We were made to feel very much at home. In fact it felt more like a home than a B&B. We hope it will be possible to visit again quite soon.

This is an old fashioned farmhouse B & B. The owners are very welcoming. The rooms are fine but there are no en suites which may not suit everybody. The Welsh breakfast is enormous but we were not able for it on the day. There are no locks on the bedroom doors and my wife found this unacceptable from a security perspective. Perhaps it is normal in farmhouse B and Bs.

We were looking for a place for New Years eve 2014/15 for two couple and a dog. Everywhere else was either too expensive or full. These guys were super friendly and helpful took dogs and made us feel really welcome. Great price and really cozy place to stay. We will be going back!!

We spent 1 night here, and would have loved to stay longer! The farmhouse is full of charm, rooms and even bathrooms are beautifully decorated, we slept very well in the comfortable bed. Yummy full english breakfast included (with lighter options too), beautiful and quiet surroundings, children might enjoy the various farm animals (dogs, pretty chicken breeds, horses). Last but not least, Diane is a warm-hearted person who will make you feel at home straight away. And if you're still not convinced: the price is exceptionally fair for the quality that is offered. I guess it's the best price-quality deal you'll get in St Davids and around!

My Wife and I stayed here sept 16 through 18th and loved the place. This is a working farm built in the 17th century with pigs, horses and chickens (walking around the property). Diane and Wayne were great hosts and cook a top shelf, all-day breakfast - all this at a much more reasonable cost than the more snooty places in town. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Upper Clegyr Farmhouse, our rooms had real character and it was great to have access to tea/coffee & biscuits etc in the dining room. We had the most wonderful breakfast cooked by our host Diane, nothing was any problem. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area, accommodation was fantastic and Diane was the perfect host.
