Our 3rd visit and certainly not our last. This site is everything it says on their website. It is basic but for our stay of 7 days in September it is perfectly adequate. No queuing for the loo or the shower which is kept clean,...More

7 friends and I wanted to celebrate the end of our GCSE exams with a camping holiday by the sea. Being 16 it was hard to find a place that would trust us enough to stay unaccompanied but Whitesands really gave us the adult respect...More

Just been in touch with Pete to confirm when the fields are to be opened (12pm July 27th) to try and get the best pitch for our third year summer camping, although there's room for everyone regardless as there are so many fields that are...More

This was our first camping trip and it was amazing! The site is literally a stones throw from a wonderful beach and right next to the coastal path which gives the most amazing views for sunsets! The site is basic but has everything you need,...More

We stayed two nights at Whitesands camping during term-time, so only the first field was available. This is a thin sloping strip next to the road, so everyone is camped very close together and there is little privacy. The main attraction of this site is...More

Thanks for your fair review. We are so pleased you enjoyed this wonderful location right next to Whitesands Beach. We take careful note of your comments. In reply, we have done our very best to improve the main site by re-seeding the grass this year...More

About
Description
Surely rural camping doesn't get any better: pitch up alongside Whitesands Beach, choose the best waves, go for a swim, explore the rock pools and experience the magic of a Whitesands sunset. The facilities are More basic: two showers (with tokens), an outdoor shower, toilets, 14 electric hook-ups, and water taps. There’s no booking system for pitches or hook-ups, so it's a case of "turn up on the day," find Famous Pete the Manager, and make the most of the sunshine. In August there's plenty of room to pitch on the farm fields behind the small main site. Sorry no large campervans, mobile homes or caravans. A shop is at the beach car park, and surf lessons can be booked. Between May-September: dogs are banned from the beach (but well-behaved owners and their dogs are allowed on the site); a bus takes you to St Davids; and Lifeguards man the beach. So, if you want to relax next to an amazing beach, with 'no frills' facilities, but low cost from £6/adult/night, then this is for you. Less
