Staff was faultless throughout our week stay. Very welcoming, kept covid regulations throughout making you feel safe with social distancing and sanitiser throughout breakfast and evenings. Always asking if need to change towels/bedding, tea or milk!we was very thankful with recommendations of beaches to visit, where to go in evening's and best places to shop.

Hotel was very clean and with a stunning view onto the sea in the distance.

Breakfast was lovely and the sunday roast was outstanding! Definitely recommend booking into the restaurant for that.

Really enjoyed our stay and if we return to the area we would stay again!

Thank you very much to all the staff!

Peaceful and relaxing place to stay.
We needed a quiet place to get away and this little gem suited are required needs.

Lovely scenery with a few over the hills and over looking the ocean.
The garden and grounds are lovely, plenty of out door seating.

Breakfast was made to order and yummy. Nice coffee. Service was fantastic.

Evening meal was tasty, although a small menu everything we had was cooked well and clear thought had been put in.

Our room was clean, coffee and tea making facilities, toiletries and a hairdryer.
Bed was very cozy and plenty of storage.
Some rooms allowed dogs with a external exit into garden from bedrooms (nice touch). Shower worked well a little temperamental till you got the temperature right.

Plenty of walks and a few things to see in local town. Never tried bus service, we used a car to access more things to see and do.

Pack your walking boats and a good book and you’ll really enjoy your stay.

We have recently returned from a one night stay at the hotel, and wish we could have stayed for longer! On arrival, a friendly lady at Reception gave us a different room to the one she was originally going to put us in, when she discovered our dog did not like wooden floors! So we were given a carpeted room, which was much appreciated! The room was excellent, clean and fresh, with direct access outside, through french doors, onto lovely grounds, which again, was ideal for our dog. When we arrived, after a long journey, it was great to sit in the grounds, order a few drinks and some “amazing” pizzas! The bar menu has all the essentials, and lovely ice creams for desserts. The grounds are a particular feature, with great views out to sea. After a comfortable nights sleep, in a lovely comfy bed, we were able to sit outside with our dog in the morning, and enjoy a full “welsh breakfast”, it was delicious. Fresh local ingredients, enough to keep you full for the whole day! We were sad we could only stay for one night, but definetley plan to come back when we are in the area again. It is so nice to find somewhere that welcomes you and your dog, and somewhere that is clean and fresh, where you can tell other dog owners respect the property. The hotel also has “pods” in the grounds, with hot tubs and these looked nice too. The town of Laugharne is a lovely place, with lots of walks and lovely beaches within a short distance. We look forward to returning!

The front of house staff were excellent. Warm, friendly and catered for all needs. The evening meal was delicious and breakfast was lovely and tasty. We stayed for three evenings in an annexe ground floor room which leads on to a public footpath. The room had only French doors so could not open windows in evening for ventilation purposes. The curtains had to remain closed for privacy purposes when we were in the room. The bathroom was extremely small and my husband, who is just under six feet tall found it difficult to manoeuvre in it. Would stay again but would ask for a different bedroom in the main part of the hotel.

Stayed here for 3 days. Excellent friendly family atmosphere. Great food and if you don't like what's on offer you are allowed to order a carry out meal from local Indian. Local Fish and chips are excellent. Spacious room with spectacular views of Welsh country side. Will be back.

We were gifted a weekend break here for our ruby wedding anniversary. Our room had french doors into the garden, a very comfortable king size bed and a walk-in shower. We also had distant views of Carmarthen bay.
Breakfasts were individually cooked and delicious!
The hotel setting was in well-maintained gardens. It was lovely to sit outside our room and enjoy the view and the peace and quiet.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed for just two nights with our three dogs, we would have liked to stay longer. Friendly staff, comfy king size bed, there was tea/coffee, kettle tray in room, always a bonus.
We enjoyed the delicious Welsh breakfast with the Chefs special Cockle Laverbread, a true taste of the sea.
We certainly would return if in the area, thanks.

We stayed here for one night during the first weekend after being able to travel again in Wales.

I say this place is like time travel as it reminded me of seaside hotels from 30 years ago. Its like the kind of place that your nan would like to stay.

The whole place was shabby and in need of some serious cash spending on it.

Saying that, the breakfast was pretty good and the staff at breakfast were very willing and helpful.

This place certainly has a market but unfortunately it was not me or to my taste.

I certainly would not wish them any harm at all though.

Really great little find. Clean, comfortable and quiet. All staff really helpful and the garden rooms are brilliant for dogs! The whole hotel is dog friendly too which will mean we’ll definitely be back. A king size bed would have been good rather than a double and maybe more choice on evening menu but I’ve already recommended this place to friends and family alike. Breakfast amazing!! As are the burgers actually 😊

Absolutely lovely place with great owners and staff. We had a family room with 2 separate rooms with was excellent. The bed was comfy and no noise from the other rooms. The food was good and the breakfast was lovely. Thank you also for letting me wash my motorcycle. Did I mention free parking and lovely gardens?

Answer from John H

Sorry for the delay. I agree with the other comment. Its a narrow busy road. Take a cab. I’m sure busses also run that road.
