We are really impressed with the friendliness of the staff. We had a great stay here. The rooms are beautiful. Very large & well equipped. Could do with shampoo & conditioner in room instead of just shower/hair wash. We missed breakfast so had the buffet lunch instead, which

Used Knighton as a base for a holiday touring mid wales. The hotel has good facilities, is exceptionally clean, rooms very well furnished and comfortable, and an excellent freshly cooked breakfast from an extensive menu. The staff were all particularly friendly and helpful.

Thank you for this great review!! Cara and the kitchen team love the buzz of a busy restauiant and our Sunday roast is very popular! Mothers Day was so busy!! Watch this space for our Greek taster evenings and steak nights! Next time you visit, perhaps you can book our steam and sauna room for some girly quality time together. Thanks again and look forward to seeing you again soon. Regards the team at Knighton Hotel.

Is the Knighton hotel open?
I'm 68 and just finished walking most of Offa's Dyke a few weeks ago. It's kind of defined by nasty ups and downs. You might want to consider the portions that run alongside the canals. Also outside of Langollen there is a portion of the walk that is high up but accessible via taxi.
