We have just returned from a week self catering at the Fron with a group of friends. I am almost reluctant to write this review, as I don't want it to get so booked up that we wouldn't be able to book to go again.! It was gorgeous! Fantastic quality fittings, comfortable bedrooms, wonderful views -- I could go on...

We've just returned from a lovely, relaxing long weekend at The Fron and wanted to leave a review immediately to recommend it. The process of booking via the holiday lettings website was simple...& even when I screwed up and forgot to pay the balance for the booking on time the owners were accommodating and understanding and the problem was easily...

We stayed here with our family occupying all of the rooms at "The Fron" in June 2014 for the weekend as a family get together. It is available to rent out for a weekend or by the week. As you arrive you are greeted with a view of this magnificent House at the top of the hill which has been...

We stayed at the Fron for a weekend because my husband was competing in the Man V Horse race in near by Llanyrtyd Wells. We were traveling from Chicago and had no idea what to expect but we were in for a real treat. Sylvie who operated the B&B is such a gem. Her traditional English breakfast each day was...

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights in June 2012 and absolutely loved it. Our room was modern, nicely decorated, very clean, with serene views of the rolling sheep filled hills in the distance. It really couldn't have been any nicer. We were the only guests that weekend so it was very quiet. The meals were another highlight...

One of the most relaxed places at which I've stayed in my world travels. The setting is pastoral- literally - you are surrounded by fields of rolling hills occupied by sheep. If you are fortunate, you will be able to watch as a shepherd (mounted on his trusty ATV) and his two sheepdogs move a flock from field to field....

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago for one night and wished it was for longer! The place is in an idyllic location with amazing views and a good distance from civillisation.... Sylvie, the hostess is perfect. We had been to the Welsh Spring Show and arrived late in the afternoon. The weather had not been fantastic, and we...

Set in a beautiful location (even in the rain) this B&B is head and shoulders above most and well deserving of its 5 star rating. The room was more than ample size with a lovely comfy king sized bed, wardrobe, dresser, tv, chairs and stunning views of the landscape around. An updated stunning bathroom with bath and shower which was...

“i believe there are only 3 rooms available at the Fron. We stayed in the main house, where there are 2 rooms and I suggest staying there rather than in the guest house down the hill. You'd need to walk up the hill for meals although it is more exclusive if you're on a couples getaway.”
