My partner and I stayed at Pen-y-Bryn House in April 2018 for three nights. The building itself is lovely with beautiful gardens, free wi-fi, and a space to put wet walking clothes to dry. They offer hearty breakfasts with fresh fruit and great coffee served in a cafetière.

We were very surprised at this review, no one can remember this booking, and I am sure we would with the complaints they made, also why send a review almost ten months after they stayed, it do not make sense. All we can say please look at our past reviews and your make your own mind up about us. Anne

This is our fourth visit to Pen y Bryn. We enjoy it every year, so welcoming, comfortable and the breakfast the best. Must mention the superb grounds. The people of Llangorse are so friendly. Thank you Ann, see you next year.

The kettle came up nice with a quick wipe with a damp cloth.
Another picture of the stained doily.
This was our room number. There was a 5-star Visit Wales logo shown, but I enquired with Visit Wales after our stay and found that this guest house no longer takes part in the scheme.
You can see the layer of dust on the mirror.
A great deal of dust on the side table lamp shade.

"Don't stay in room 2 unless you take a feather duster!"
"Comfy bed, B & B overall in my opinion was outdated and tired"
"Any room is good but we stayed in the Rectors room...perfect"
"Room 2 and 4 were both lovely. On the road, but very quiet and sunny. Nice views of the mountains past the houses opposite."
"Room one if you want a good bathroom, and don't mind hopping across the hall to it."
