Aberhiriaeth Cottage is a great place with beautiful gardens and views up the valley. The rooms are quaint but well appointed and the guest lounge is large but cosy with a wood burning stove. Richard and Judy are very welcoming and do the biggest and best breakfast I have ever had in a B&B. Highly recommend.

A second visit separated by 6 years! We would definitely go back a third time. Lovely veggie breakfast and Judy makes the best cake. Beautiful setting and a very relaxing bank holiday break. Richard and Judy are welcoming and helpful with local information.

We stayed at Aberhiriaeth Cottage in mid-May, the night before a visit to RSPB Ynys-hir, which is about fourteen miles away. The secluded B&B is set in pretty countryside close to the banks of the River Dovey (about half an hour from the picturesque seaside town of Aberdovey) and has large grounds full of benches so that guests can enjoy...

We stayed here when walking the Cambrian Way and rather wished we had booked for the next night too. Richard and Judy set high standards! We were made very welcome and were provided with everything we needed for our comfort. The twin room is quite small, but the bathroom is great with a really excellent shower. Richard drove us to...

This was by far one of the best places we stayed on our whole trip . The host family( Richard and Judy) were very friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We came as strangers and left as friends .

Me and my girlfriend recently spent a night at Aberhiriaeth Cottage and would thoroughly recommend a visit to anyone. The location is perfect set just a few miles from some of the larger towns in the area. We stayed here primarily because of the cottage's proximity to a number of nature reserves. The owners Richard and Judy couldn't have been...

My husband spent two nights at Aberhiriaeth Cottage and praised it very highly. Judy and Richard were charming hosts. It was an idyllic spot and he loved playing with their small dogs (nothing to be afraid of) who were very mischievous. The bedroom was comfortable and he recommends the Cottage to everyone.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of May. Richard and Judy are very welcoming hosts and so their best to make your stay a pleasant experience. The cottage (Welsh Long House) is fascinating and beautifully kept. Agree with all the previous reviews. Judy made us an excellent packed lunch at one hours notice even providing cool bags...

I stayed here overnight and was very impressed. Richard and Judy were warm and welcoming, the bedroom was charming, sadly the breakfast defeated me as it was so magnificently large. If you are looking for clean comfortable and friendly then it's perfect for you but I must add it was so much more than that. I'm coming back in October...

This was our second visit to Aberhiriaeth Cottage and I look forward to the third!! Richard and Judy are warm, friendly hosts and nothing is too much trouble. The Cottage is in a beautiful setting, with a stream running along the bottom of the front garden and a beautiful view. The rooms are of the highest standard, spotlessly clean and...
