Have stayed here a few times now. The castle transports you back to a period of homely decadence. You feel like an extra in a poirot thriller. Rooms are unique and quirky. The vittles are excellent, with delicious actual home cooked food. Views over th Afon Dyfi are amazing. The best bit must be Sidney the little Dachshund dog who...

My Boyfriend bought me a 2 night stay at this amazing castle for my Birthday. We traveled from Sheffield and it was definitely worth it. Breathtaking views and beautiful gardens. The room was absolutely beautiful. There is lots to see and do just a short distance away from the castle. The owners could not do enough for you and made...

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary (and first night away from our toddler! ) so we were very particular about where we were going and wanted it to be a luxury. Well, we got luxury and more! The first glimpse of the castle as youse your way up the drive is breath taking and terribly exciting....

What an amazing Place. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and wished we had been able to stay all of it here. We were treated with a whole castle to ourselves. We had high expectations and all of them were met and then some... We had the Osprey Room, with a huge whirlpool and jacuzzi Bath, seperate shower,...

I can't recommend Glandyfi Castle highly enough. 15 minutes after we arrived we were treated to home made Bara brith and tea in the library (now less library and more cosy sitting space). The renovated castle is spectacular, from the door knobs (check out the entrance lock) to the pictures on the wall. We ended up in the Nightingale room...

My husband & I booked into the Glandyfi Castle for 3 nights in October. We both liked the idea of staying in a castle, also the sample menu looked interesting and we booked to have a meal on our second evening. When we arrived the true size and majesty of the building bowled us over, our hosts Maureen and Peter...

We recently got married at Glandyfi Castle this month (Saturday 10th October) and cannot recommend Maureen and Peter highly enough. The Castle itself is set in a stunning location, close to Machynlleth (where a lot of our guests stayed, but a lucky 16 were able to stay in the gorgeously luxurious bedrooms in Glandyfi, the bathroom in the bridal suite...

We first stayed in Glandyfi Castle for one night last year and fell in love with it, so much so that my husband booked the entire Castle for 2 nights to celebrate my 50th birthday this year for us and my family. From start to finish, our stay was beyond all our expectations. Many of my family had a 5-6...

Since we looked around just after the owners had lovingly restored this glorious building to its former glory we have wanted to stay and dine here. We finally had the opportunity when I threw a surprise birthday party for my partner last week. After enjoying a spa bath and champagne in their best bedroom he went downstairs into a room...

We visited for a fortieth birthday party and stayed overnight. This place is simply amazing, not a medieval castle but rather a Victorian castle style house it has been restored and re-fitted to perfection. It is large but homely with nothing out of place or out of character. The dining room is a roofed over courtyard which is simply superb...
