I stayed here for 2 nights during August 2016 along with my 3 children. Some of the decor and furnishings are dated but nothing you don't expect when staying at a bunkhouse. Our room was spacious and met our needs. There was plenty of storage too. We were particularly pleased to be staying in the 'Prince William' room!! The biggest...

Thank you for your comments. I am glad you enjoyed our ‘Royal Suite’! I appreciate comments and would like to respond to the mention of the room keys. I have been here for 14 years and for the first couple of years all rooms had keys, with another for the main entrance. I do not get many small family groups...

I stayed here with a friend for just one night after climbing Cadair Idris. It's ideal for anyone visiting for outdoor pursuits. Loads of walking and mountain biking in the area. The well equipped lounge area has has all the maps and guides you could possibly need. It has a drying room and bike sheds. The kitchen is great and...

The Braich Goch Bunkhouse was perfect for our running club's weekend in Wales for Race The Train. We had full use of the kitchen and a separate dinning room. We also had a grill for our BBQ and they even kept the bar going late for our post-race celebration. My favourite part was the very sweet outdoor cat they have...

Thank you for your kind words. I guess our 'daft' cat, Bandit, fits in well with some of the quirkiness here!

Around 20 of us turn up for a running week end, the place is amazing, included a bar (really cheap), a pool table, darts! Bedroom are great and clean as the bathroom and kichen! I would recommend for any large or small groups!

20 or so of our running club stayed at the bunkhouse for a weekend, and had THE BEST time. We had full use of the very well-equipped kitchen and dining room. There’s also a (good value) bar on site with a pool table and darts. We borrowed the barbecue on our last night to use out in the garden, which...

If you are looking for a bunkhouse in Wales, then Braich Goch is the place. Modern kitchen, dining room and a lounge with more books than a small library. There is a bar on site with wonderful, well kept ales and a free pool table. If 6 stars were available, it would get a 6!
