If you want a B&B to have a really comfortable bed and a designer bathroom that allows for an unusual amount of privacy from the bedroom, then this is the place for you. It is without doubt the best B&B that we have ever stayed in. The owners are both lovely and were very welcoming. They made us tea and...

We stayed here this weekend with 2 friends. We choose Tybie and Myfanwy. Both rooms were lovely. Beds were comfortable and clean, the en suite bathrooms the same. The rooms are at the front of the building so a little traffic noise can be heard but didnt disturb us too much. The welcome from the owners was lovely and nothing...

The service was absolutely first class, nothing was too much trouble. The food was also magnificent (the best scallops my wife has EVER had) including the full english (welsh?) breakfast. The accommodation was OK, good bathroom, but the room was very creaky and directly above the bar, so quite noisy. All in all, thoroughly recommended.

Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly hosts Steve and Jackie, starting with a welcoming tea tray. My en-suite room [Tybie] was cosy, spotless and equipped with television, magazines, hair dryer, bathrobe, ample towels and bathroom 'goodies'. There were plenty of brochures area offering a variety of ideas for days out, for which the perfect start would be the...

Not sure why the previous reviewer praised the Talkhouse then gave it one star for everything ??? Surely a mistake ??? Booked the Talkhouse for 2nights after reading the great reviews on tripadvisor so was fairly confident that it was going to be good. First impressions were very good and the AA 5 star plaque on the doorway clearly showed...

Stayed here in July with colleagues as was working near-by. Owners are very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic - after a long day working I looked forward to returning here to eat and sleep. Rooms were clean, ensuite, cozy and comfortable; as there is only a few we were allowed to pick amongst ourselves which ones we wanted...

We didn't stay but we did eat. Having been really badly let down on other nights, this was a delightful surprise. Our hosts were lovely, the staff friendly and attentive and the food great. Thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll be going back - even if it is 3hours away!

If you love good food, then this is the B & B for you! The restaurant is excellent, the wine list superb, and the atmosphere warm and relaxing. We stayed in Tybie, which is somewhat small and has the low doorways you would expect in a 17th century building. (Would not recommend that room for a very tall person.) We...

We stayed at the Talkhouse for 2 nights on a recent trip to Wales. I had read about the excellent food, which is why I made the reservation. We were warmly welcomed by Jackie and given a choice of two available rooms. We chose "Tirion," which was small but comfortable, and very nicely laid out with a really nice bathroom....

I had wanted to stay here for some time - not a dissappointment at all! Comfortably furnished it felt like being at home. The room was small but fine and I slept very well. The food is excellent, well served and presented. I was very happy with every aspect. Would I stay here again? Certainly and would urge others to...
