Fantastic stay in a really lovely old hotel, we were made very welcome and Helen was very helpful and gave us local information, food was out of this world, be warned portion sizes were big. Breakfast was lovely and a great choice, full breakfast all the way for us as weather was freezing and needed the energy. Only suggestion to...

My partner and I recently decided to pop into the Radnorshire Arms for an evening meal. Being a chilly evening the open fire in the bar was a bonus. Not really knowing what ale to drink the gentleman behind the bar with our prompting offered me a small sample of all three ales. We decided to order plain ol' fish...

we were in one of what the locals call a shack at the back of the hotel. There were several of these rooms. Very good room size lovely wet room. the wet room had good facilities if you needed aids for the shower and toilet. However, straight outside the room was a walkway of around a metre with a one...

We arrived early to the bar looking for an early evening drink and a bite to eat. A short wait for 6pm to order food. The food was nice and with friendly service. The prices were reasonable, the bar was quiet for a Friday

We come to the Radnorshire Arms on a regular basis, probably monthly. Lovely food, fantastic staff. The only disappointing thing was the change of furniture which does seem to change on a regular basis. Today we Enjoyed a lovely meal, sat in the bar as usual but the chair didn't reach the dining table. I Couldn't change the chair as...

Had very good fish and chips on a Friday evening. Nice log fire in quiet bar. Lovely wooden panelled room. Food and service were both very good. Flashing Christmas lights and rubbish music were a bit annoying and spoilt the atmosphere a bit. However, we will visit again and recommend.

The Radnorshire Arms, Presteigne is a hotel steeped in history. It was built in 1616, (although it probably existed in some form before this date) has secret rooms, a Priest's hole, enormous original beams and oak panelled rooms and some slopping floors. There is even a copy of the death certificate of Charles I signed by all the Lords of...

Only checked out the bar but was a comfortable chilled out place to have a drink with the wife. Polite staff. Good selection of beers and spirits. Have been here a few times over the last couple of years.

We visit every year, and we are always pleased with the food and the service. We visited last month, and to our horror, this lovely, old establishment had a bistro instead of a bar.Not to pleased with the new menu, and the furniture screams at you, tottaly out of place.Sorry to see it.Visit again, not sure.
