Detailed Reviews
Booking ref RB/TOA09, we had booked to stay for six days but unfortunately due to storm Francis we had to come home early. We will however definitely be back. This is a lovely quiet site with plenty of space between the pitches. There is a caretaker on site but not sure if that is all the year round. We arrived on Sunday and the site manager was on a day off, but when we did see her on the Tuesday she was really friendly. There is a mixture of hard standings and grass pitches and even a camping field. We were amazed at how clean all the facilities were and what good condition everything was in. There are 2 private shower rooms and also 2 showers in the toilets. The washing up area is a separate room with the washing machine and dryer in. There is a microwave available as well. There was also a dog washing room which looked really nice! The dryers were really good(thanks to storm Francis we got to use them!) and we were able to dry a double quilt in it! All in all we had a lovely few days and will be back to stay again.

We’ve just got home after a wonderful week in our touring caravan at Rockbridge Park. This is a great place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Because of Covid restrictions the toilets and showers were closed but our modern caravan is fully equipped with central heating, a toilet and shower so the site’s closed facilities were no problem for us (especially as we had a serviced pitch). The site itself is immaculate with manicured grass and tubs of flowers - these were already being refreshed as we left. If you’re feeling active there’s plenty to do in the vicinity including visits to Presteigne, Ludlow and Leominster, NT properties Croft Castle and Berrington Hall, Elan Valley lakes and Offa’s Dyke. If you fancy a day off from self-catering then we’d certainly recommend the fish and chips at Presteigne (apparently the Chinese takeaway is equally good although we didn’t have the chance to try it). A big thank you to Janet and all the team at Rockbridge for a fantastic break.

Having been shielding since March I really needed a change of scenery but didn't want to be among crowds. This was the perfect choice. We stayed in the static caravan located just inside the park. The facilities were great with everything you'd find in your own home (except oven gloves which did cause a couple of worrying moments). The rooms were well fitted out and we made a lot of use of the decking. The whole place was spotless and the towels and bedding were high quality.
The views are lovely from the elevated position and the river makes for a pleasant walk.
My only slight criticism is that with the gravel driveway directly in front of use at busy times when cars etc were arriving and leaving it did feel a bit like sitting in a car park.
Special mention to Rosie who is so welcoming and was so good at retrieving a lost playing card for us.

This is a lovely site with immaculate facilities. Pitches are nicely spaced out and there is a good selection of different surfaces and locations. The site nestles in beautiful countryside in mid-Wales and there was a very pleasant walk into Presteigne.
The staff were hugely accommodating; allowing us to make use of an empty pitch so we could watch TV from the aerial feed, even though we hadn't booked it.
I am already looking forward to going back!

Just returned from a short stay at Rockbridge Campsite. On arrival, the lady at reception was very welcoming. We stayed on an electrical tent pitch right by the river which was lovely! Our hookup was not long enough to reach central unit, but a longer extension was available from reception. The campsite grounds and facilities are spotless. The secure dog field and dog wash are also great additions with anyone travelling with dogs.
The village of Presteigne is just a short drive away and has everything you need with a bakery, convenience store, pharmacy, pubs etc. Will definitely be returning again.

We visited for bank holiday weekend and wow what a site!!! Lovely pitches with a beautiful stream. The shower block is immaculate and they even have a dog washing facility with dog blaster which came in very useful after the round walk into Presteigne. The village itself is quite and charming with several pubs and individual shops to visit. A lovely little recommendation and will be visiting again very soon.

We came here because we had been to the recently taken over by Warners, motorhome show at Malvern, and had been given a free night stay at one of this companies three sites. We(I) chose it because of the river, which sad to say at the time was disappointing, but the first night it absolutely Chucked it down, and I was thinking of flooding 😳 ha ha, no different at all, still like a stream n the morning, we had booked two nights, in hindsight shouldn’t have, you couldn’t walk on the road, and if you wanted to get to shops would need a car or walk up a hill through fields to get to the village, we walk but are not walkers, and if we had brought our bikes like we always do (we should have swopped our motorhome but it didn’t happen so just threw stuff in and hoped we hadn’t forgotten anything serious. ) we WOULD not have ridden on the road. . Lovely lady on reception who moved us next to the ‘river’ 🙂 and next day met another nice young lady who let me have my pen back, she hadn’t seen it, and gave me two spare ones! It’s a beautiful site, road not to intrusive, but they don’t like flags on pitches (not bothered) or you walking round chalet site( bit bothered not much else to do) and no washing twirly things ( did mind, don’t usually do washing when away, but recently got a twirly one (hadn’t put it in) and it just bugged me, to tell me not to. 😳 wouldn’t visit again, felt kind of trapped on site, you would definitely need a car for touring area, not for kids either, so a quiet well presented site, but not for us. Not a lot of (4 of each ) showers and toilets and they weren’t heated. Went to sister site, stayed one night went to third sister site stayed one night, wouldn’t again, then went back to second site, best out of the three. And stayed longer.

Absolutely spotless site, challenged myself to find anything wrong in the facilities and could not find a blemish on the mirrors or walls or anywhere, this is the best thought out site I've come across in 50 years.
Janet was such a lovely person and so helpful, Rosie is great and will give you all the help possible. Riverside pitches what more can you ask for 👏👌

Me and my husband stopped over here on a two night stay with our dog. First of, it’s clean and tidy with the most beautiful scenery. They had a fenced area where you can allow your dog off the lead which I found a great idea.
The staff were more than friendly. A young lady (didn’t catch her name) was lovely and chatty and couldn’t be more helpful when asked how to get to the local town. We managed to miss the rain and walked through the fields to the local town and walked back. Half an hour walk.
We will for sure be booking future stays.
