Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this beautiful site in our rented motorhome as was really impressed with this place. Beautifully maintained lawns/gardens, very clean shower/ toilets, no problems with hot water in the showers as a previous review had said. Laundry room, dog wash, fridges and information room availability, everything was well thought out to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We were met on our arrival by Becky at reception who is a lovely lady, very enthusiastic about her job and was really helpful and informative about the site, amenities and local area. We walked into Presteigne town via the road as it wasn’t very busy but there are a couple of alternative walks /paths to get to the town not on the road. Town has lots of lovely quirky shops, cafes and restaurants and were very friendly. We had a lovely cream tea in Rose Cottage cafe which was excellent with a very welcoming owner. The site has two other sister sites and we will definitely be exploring them if the standards of this site are anything to go by. Thanks to Becky and team for a wonderful stay we will return in the future.

The site is a quiet backwater and is very peaceful, it sits in a slight hollow and the large trees along the river provide shade to the site. It is very clean and tidy and the pitches are quite spacious. The facilities are on the whole excellent with the best washing up room I have seen. All of the surfaces in the ablutions blocks are covered with white PVC wall panels which were spotlessly clean. We did not have any interaction with the site staff on site, but when booking on the telephone they were very friendly and helpful. The only negative on the site for us was the showers and in particular the shower water pressure which was very poor and in fact no more than a dribble when there were other users in the block using hot water. Overall a very good site if you’re looking for something quiet and have your own shower in your caravan or Motorhome.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent stay at Rockbridge Park. It is always a thrill to hear lovely comments and the team thrive on such positive feedback. We are disheartened to hear of your experience with the low water pressure. We currently have a temporary feed to the shower block while we are working in the holiday home area of the park and this has affected the water supply during times of high demand. We apologise that this affected your stay with us but can assure you that the current water supply is only a tempoary measure and we hope that your positive comments will see you wanting to visit the park again in the near future.

We used this site as our first taster run with our first van, after tenting for years. Upon arriving, a lovely lady greeted us, told us about the site, and apologised for ongoing building work (which absolutely did not affect our stay, couldn't hear or see anything from our van) The site is quite possibly one of the most beautifully looked after site. Shower and toilet block, spotless and a nice area. Lovely dog walk area where our girl could be off lead playing with her ball, then a lovely (very deep in places) stream where she loved playing in too. We had an extremely happy fur girl. To be honest I felt a bit sad to leave, but without a doubt we will be back, and I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this gorgeous camp site. There was tents pitched by the river too in such a beautiful spot. 10 out of 10 to Rockbridge Park

This is a lovely campsite in a secluded , quiet area. The facilities and site are spotless and kept clean by the staff. The campsite is an a valley by the river Lugg which is excellent for walking and generally chilling out. The electric hook up pitches are huge and there is plenty of separation. Will definetally be coming back to this site.

We came here because we had been to the recently taken over by Warners, motorhome show at Malvern, and had been given a free night stay at one of this companies three sites. We(I) chose it because of the river, which sad to say at the time was disappointing, but the first night it absolutely Chucked it down, and I was thinking of flooding 😳 ha ha, no different at all, still like a stream n the morning, we had booked two nights, in hindsight shouldn’t have, you couldn’t walk on the road, and if you wanted to get to shops would need a car or walk up a hill through fields to get to the village, we walk but are not walkers, and if we had brought our bikes like we always do (we should have swopped our motorhome but it didn’t happen so just threw stuff in and hoped we hadn’t forgotten anything serious. ) we WOULD not have ridden on the road. . Lovely lady on reception who moved us next to the ‘river’ 🙂 and next day met another nice young lady who let me have my pen back, she hadn’t seen it, and gave me two spare ones! It’s a beautiful site, road not to intrusive, but they don’t like flags on pitches (not bothered) or you walking round chalet site( bit bothered not much else to do) and no washing twirly things ( did mind, don’t usually do washing when away, but recently got a twirly one (hadn’t put it in) and it just bugged me, to tell me not to. 😳 wouldn’t visit again, felt kind of trapped on site, you would definitely need a car for touring area, not for kids either, so a quiet well presented site, but not for us. Not a lot of (4 of each ) showers and toilets and they weren’t heated. Went to sister site, stayed one night went to third sister site stayed one night, wouldn’t again, then went back to second site, best out of the three. And stayed longer.

What a wonderful Country site to stay and unwind right by an ambling river. The caravan was very clean and was made very welcome for us with lots of extras that we did not expect. The site was so wonderfully kept and places to go walking. We will return for yet another wonderful stay. Many thanks to office staff Janet who welcomed us and always had time to check we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. Such a fabulous stay.

We gave Rockbridge a go as usually stay at sister site Arrow Bank and we have friends in Presteigne, and boy we were not disappointed, beautifully kept site, very pretty surroundings, toilet shower block was immaculate and we even gave our dog a shower in their facilities, lovely walk across the fields into Presteigne which is a lovely little town, which took approx half an hour at most, the lady that runs it Janet was lovely and very helpful when our electric cable packed up, we would definitely come here again, peace and quiet even in Mid August....Thankyou...😊

Just returned from a short stay at Rockbridge Campsite. On arrival, the lady at reception was very welcoming. We stayed on an electrical tent pitch right by the river which was lovely! Our hookup was not long enough to reach central unit, but a longer extension was available from reception. The campsite grounds and facilities are spotless. The secure dog field and dog wash are also great additions with anyone travelling with dogs. The village of Presteigne is just a short drive away and has everything you need with a bakery, convenience store, pharmacy, pubs etc. Will definitely be returning again.
