There are three accommodations which are situated apart from each other in a secluded two acre field. Willow yurt is roughly 16ft in diameter and sleep 2-4 adults. Cherry yurt is 19ft in diameter can sleep up to 6 adults. And Oak yurt is two yurts, one 16ft and one 19ft which are joined together by a corridor and a door. Each yurt is fully furnished and heated by a woodburner which makes them extremely warm while the felt holds in the heat. Outside, each yurt has its own fire-pit, bench seating, picnic table and cast iron BBQ, all of which can be moved around the field so larger groups can sit together. At the bottom of the yurt field is a very eco compost toilet, don't be scared it's not that different to a normal loo, just without the flushing! The kitchen and shower facilities are situated in a separate area a few metres from the yurt field. The cabin kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking equipment, crockery and glasses you should need including a gas cooker, fridge and kitchen sink. The shower is close by and is fully heated it also includes a heated towel rail and hairdryer.

A truly lovely spot that my family have been coming back to every year or two for fifteen years. Lovely people and a lovely, quiet place to hear yourself think. Each yurt has its own bbq pit, each yurt has its own cupboard to put your own dishes in and each has its own bathroom. Home from home but with the sound of sheep in the background!

We have visited three times now and will be back again for sure. Lovely, friendly, helpful hosts who are always a joy to see again. The Yurts are very comfortable and surprisingly warm when the little wood burner is on. The beds are amazingly comfortable and we always sleep very well here.

Just got back from a lovely weekend. I couldn’t recommend it more. Fantastic weather, very comfortable and cosy yurt (we stayed in cedar which was very spacious and comfortable) and lots of outdoor space. Each yurt has there own private bathroom which are very clean. The yurts are spread out across the field which gives you lots of outdoor space for each one so you feel like there’s nobody else around and not looked over. The communal kitchen area and outdoor dining space is great. We lit the pizza oven on the first night and had fresh pizzas and beers, perfect start. We cooked breakfast on the campfire outside our own yurt, you have the option of hiring the hot plate and utensils for the fire which we did and would recommend. We had no light pollution at night which gave a great view of the stars. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and would recommend you give it a go.…

A really beautiful spot - the dawn chorus was phenomenal and the views were amazing. We stayed in Oak Yurt with our three kids (aged 9, 7 and 3) on a rainy bank holiday weekend. The yurt was clean, dry and cosy. The camp kitchen was a lovely spot to hang out in and the children played in the field the whole time. We didn’t feel much need to get out and about and felt thoroughly rested after our trip, thank you.

We opted for an autumn break at Strawberry Skys Yurts, and were really pleased with both the cosy atmosphere inside the yurt, and the beautiful scenery outside it (especially the red kites). A particular highlight was the social kitchen area and our own bathroom. We're hoping to return again with family.

We can only say how beautiful we found our 2nd stay at Strawberry Skys Yurts and that is why we have booked our 3rd stay this coming New Years Eve. The entire ambience to which we have experienced here during our stays only ever manages to please and make our break an extremely beautiful worthwhile stay. The Yurts are impeccable, warm, cosy, fresh and completely relaxing. The morning and evening views are wonderful, a chance to recharge and regroup with my hubby and also be in touch with the beauty that surrounded us in nature. Attention to detail inside and out is just great! we cooked in the kitchen, wrapped up cosy enjoying refreshments whilst listening to music whilst surrounded in lights, things couldn't have got any better! Thank you to our hosts Anya and Eric😊 - See you in December We have stayed in the Ash and Cedar - both Yurts are fab! Local walks are breath-taking and the village is just down the road.…
