#1 of 8 Speciality lodging in Welshpool
There are three accommodations which are situated apart from each other in a secluded two acre field. Willow yurt is roughly 16ft in diameter and sleep 2-4 adults. Cherry yurt is 19ft in diameter can sleep up to 6 adults. And Oak yurt is two yurts, one 16ft and one 19ft which are joined together by a corridor and a door. Each yurt is fully furnished and heated by a woodburner which makes them extremely warm while the felt holds in the heat. Outside, each yurt has its own fire-pit, bench seating, picnic table and cast iron BBQ, all of which can be moved around the field so larger groups can sit together. At the bottom of the yurt field is a very eco compost toilet, don't be scared it's not that different to a normal loo, just without the flushing! The kitchen and shower facilities are situated in a separate area a few metres from the yurt field. The cabin kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking equipment, crockery and glasses you should need including a gas cooker, fridge and kitchen sink. The shower is close by and is fully heated it also includes a heated towel rail and hairdryer.

We received a warm welcome from Anya and Eric and had wonderful stay in a peaceful location with views of the Welsh hills. The yurt was extremely clean and tidy with a super warm log burner. The location is excellent for exploring Mid-Wales and beyond, we look forward to visiting again!

This is the perfect setting for what we needed. A two night break for mums and their daughters to relax, chat, drink, play and get out in nature. The site is beautiful and very well equipped witch a communal kitchen and outdoor covered seating area. Each yurt gets its own spotlessly clean shower block. There’s a wood shed you can help yourself to. The yurts are clean and cosy with clear instructions for the wood burners. Anya the host gave us a friendly welcome and tour. There’s plenty of space between the yurts and for the kids to play. Really could not fault this place. Highly recommended.

Eric and Anya are the most delightful hosts. The accommodation is cosy, comfortable, warm, inviting and just perfect. The shower and toilet facilities where clean and the water in the shower was always hot, not to mention the heating in there made it so welcoming and pleasant. The kitchen has everything you need and I felt so safe with the measures put in place due to Covid. Hand sanitizer everywhere, brilliant! 😁 Everything for the log burner is provided free too. 😍😍 We cant wait to come back when the weather is better and take more advantage of the BBQ and Pizza Oven available on site too. Thanks again Karen, John and Roxy dog. 🐶🐕

This was our second visit and was absolutely perfect for a relaxing family holiday. Each yurt has it’s own bathroom and we had our own kitchen cupboard and fridge. We got to bring our dog this time and with only four yurts on site, it is always quiet and plenty of space for the children to run and play. The family were very welcoming and attentive. We can’t wait I go back!

We are so sad to be home from our Yurt holiday! We stayed Friday-Monday with family and we booked the Willow and Ash Yurts for our stay. The owner Eric was really friendly and full of useful info but totally unimposing and left you to get on with your holiday. The kids had the best time running free around the site and we adults had a great time enjoying the weather, the bbq, the camp fires and a few beers of course! This place is stunning. The views and sky are just amazing. Lovely little village close by and we enjoyed a day trip to Welshpool on the adorable steam railway, but the kids were happiest just playing in the yurt fields with the friends they made. The yurts are so lovely and the facilities are good. We would love to return!
