Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We’ve stayed in this hotel as contractors the past few weeks, really friendly staff and the rooms are clean, everything you could ask for in a travelodge. Becky on reception is really helpful and will help you no end, always very polite and professional with all guests. I had an issue connecting to the Wi-Fi and Becky gladly helped me even though she was very busy. Would return again to this travelodge.

Had a recovery truck right outside my room window that woke me up at 3am in the morning and was there for a while. The shower head won't work properly for my morning shower instead dribbled water and took me ages to get a decent shower.

Arrived after a long journey put my bags into the room then went out for the evening then came home to get ready for bed and found no soap in dispenser by sink or bath then wake up in morning and no mugs to make a cuppa… simple things and disappointing as paid £72 for the room 😡😡

I often find travelodges to be pretty noisy but the Bridgend one was the opposite. Lovely, quiet place with great staff. Bed was firm but comfy, room warm and bright. There is a Harvester next door too. The only (very minor) issue I had was the cheap coffee - we bought a jar of our own and the tea bags - I'm a Yorkshire tea fan so PG Tips just wasn't good enough 😂 Honestly, we would stay there again.

Room was very clean as per usual for this Travelodge, but bathroom looks very tired and well used, although spotlessly clean. The staff here do a great job , but can only do so much until it is given a refurb. Always made welcome by staff and have a pleasant stay.

As I was working last minute in the area. I wanted some reasonable digs and somewhere clean to lay my head. The hotel is out of the way, down a track and hasnt got the most pleasant approach. In fact the road surface is akin to the surface of the moon. I was greeted by the super friendly receptionist who gave me extra tea and milk when I asked. The hotel is obviously due a re-vamp but the room was spotlessly clean and fresh. The bathroom was immaculate and the shower pressure was excellent. Amazing value at just under £40!
