Room was comfortable, basic, but pleasant, Quieter than the Premier Inn, which is closer to the M4. You can open the windows here. I was impressed with the level of cleanliness. The bath was lovely and the water hot. I had to buy bath foam as the hotel does not provide it.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and really informative of the locale. The setting is gorgeous, surrounded by lovely countryside, lots of wildlife, and some wonderful places to explore nearby. Pretty close to Pencoed, its actually near enough to walk. I am working in the area for a couple of months, and found it to be a perfect place to feel relaxed after work. I'd highly recommend it!

Fair price @ 27 quid. But tepid water is not hot water so no shower. TV remote wasn't for the TV in my room. Room heater was not working. Toilet flushed slowly so didn't flush properly took 7 attempts to flush properly. Bed sheets smelled fausty so leaning towards the possibility of damp somewhere in the mattress. Posts outside the front are rotten at the base. Will not be booking this travelodge again even if they demolished it and rebuilt it.

We stayed here for two nights with our son while house hunting in the area. We stayed in the room nearest the reception so can only speak for a small area of the hotel. It was tired but spotlessly clean. I can't praise the staff enough. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Angela in particular looked after us above and beyond her duties. Even asking around where I could get vegan food from. We haven't been anywhere since covid and I was very nervous but felt covid safety was paramount to the staff. We felt very safe. We would definitely stay again as the low price fully compensated for the tired radiator. I should mention I check my room thoroughly under and over things so great job house keeping, if there was mould or dust I would have found it.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in the interim of relocating for work. The staff were wonderful, made me feel at home, and always offered their help. The rooms are a good size, the parking was easy and I was very close to my place of work. I definitely recommend it!
