Spent 3 nights at Manly Loft and enjoyed our time there immensely. The location was convenient for day trips via ferry to Sydney and we had some great meals at 3 different restaurants. Sally was a great host and made us feel very welcome.

We stayed in the King room for 2 nights. Our aim was to sightsee in Manly and get over to Bondi for the Sculptures by the Sea walk. There is a lot of walking to do in this hilly and popular seaside town so after a full day we returned each evening to our gorgeous room which was wonderful. The...

Oh the Sculpture by the sea, one of my favourite times of year. Weren't you lucky to experience it, and in such glorious weather too! This is a must thing to see and do, each year for 2 weeks a 100 artists show off their skills for free to the public, from Bondi to Bronte Beach. All along the cliff...

We stayed here for 4 nights (three nights in the loft and one night in the smaller room). Sally is a great host and was extremely accommodating. The rooms were clean, tidy and well laid out. The location was perfect being 5 minutes from the Wharf and 8 minutes from the beach. We would definitely recommend a stay in Manly...

Good location, nice view from top room, no blinds in top window so hard to sleep in, small bug in bed but otherwise clean, friendly host, approx 5-10 mins walk into centre of Manly/wharf, large bathroom, long flight of stairs for older folk.

Thankyou for taking the time to review us, your comments are very important to us, and we will look into putting blinds at the very top, we haven't done before as they are triangle, and so high. I can only assume the little critter came in with the sheet, sorry. Take care, Sally

Yes that's the beauty of Manly, in that if it is windy on the harbour side, then it is usually sheltered on the ocean side, and vise-versa. Either side, you can sit with a great coffee, and admire the views. We look forward to your next visit, until then, take care! Regards Sally

Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
