Manly Boutique Lodge Was there in October just didn’t have time to write a review. Whilst there I had booked with breakfast a apartment, well to my surprise when I tried to have breakfast the only thing on offer was coffee and some toast with jam and this got discontinued the next day, no reimbursement was offered or any explanation...

Had a superior studio - well equipped with all you'd want to make a quick breakfast - except no sharp knife. Corner room, so very light but also could be noisy as cafe below opened at 05.30 (didn't bother us too much, but light sleepers could hate it!) Public areas a bit scruffy - needed a good clean, WiFi only...

This hotel is in desperate need of a face-lift. The wooden blinds in our room were broken, the curtains didn't fit the windows and the front door could have been opened with one good shove. It felt quite rundown. Having said this, the room, sheets were clean and it's in a great location. As long as you aren't expecting too...

Stayed in an elconomy room, had everything we needed. Very good location, close to the ferry, buses, restaurants and the beach. Would stay here again. Did not see the deluxe rooms, so can't comment on them. Very accommodating owner on site.

I stayed here for four night in February whilst visiting friends in Manly. Yes, it's pretty basic, but it was clean, had good A/C, staff were pleasant and most importantly is very well located for all parts of Manly. Reasonably priced for what it was, just somewhere to get your head down. Would recommend

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
