I've spend lot of time in this hostel and I've absolutely recomend it. the location is perfect, near the beach, bus stop and the shops. It's very friendly and the attention is perfect, when you need something there is always a member of the staff who help us, even during the night when reception is close. There are activities every... More

what a great place! spent far too much time here and I've loved all of it. this is the backpackers that has it all sorted out. whether its the entertainment area, BBQ nights, movie nights, pizza nights and generally just the friendliest and most easy going atmosphere. I've been here for a while and they're always looking to improve the... More

This hostel has a good location and for its price is ok. When you enter in, the staff is ok, not too nice and not too rude. The place is not very clean, the kitchen was a disaster, a little bit dirty and everything was untidy. The bathrooms also really old and looked like dirty, but as I said, for... More

Dirty, smelly and dark! I was not a fan! Check in was fine (actually got into our room early). In a dorm of 6 on the ground floor but the room was so gross! Smelt like damp and BO and the room was so dark and small with bars on the windows. Only 3 or 4 lockers for a room... More

Looking for a fun filled hostel with lots of people to meet?- this is it! The staff is super friendly, helpful and always down for a chat. Rooms are clean, lockers available and you get bedding for a small refund. They offer evening activities- so even if you're traveling solo you'll meet people. I'll recommend this place especially for young... More

My first stay was booked for only three days because i needed something in the Sydney area. But after these 3 days i decided to stay another 2 months because i already made many friends, fell in love with Manly and felt like at home in the hostel. The people here are no unfriendly strangers like in many other hostels... More

I've lived here for 3 weeks so far, and am planning on staying til November. First night was checked in by Pete, clean sheets, blanket and lovely service. Beds are comfy and rooms are large (some with a balcony). Kitchen is really thought out, only 8 gas hobs, but nightly group food options make this easier (tacos/burgers etc). Huge common... More

This place has potential with it being so close to the beach, but it's really let down by being so filthy. Ok, it's a hostel, I'm not expecting 5 star standards, but the kitchen is pretty bad. We only stayed one night then moved to a different hostel in Manly. Clean the kitchen (or better yet, pull it out and... More

I had a great time here. Only stayed a week but the layout of the hostel makes it really easy to meet people. There's a cool movie room and a common area for chilling out. It was my second stop in Australia and I wish I would've just skipped Sydney and went straight to Manly. The open/outside-ness of the hostel... More
