Tucked away not even 5minutes from the heart of Beechworth, this picturesque setting is ideal for any couple wishing to celebrate or just escape from the everyday. The room was spacious and nicely arranged with clean amenities and fresh linens. Look out your rooms window to green grounds filled with colourful beds of flowers and luscious green trees and grass....

We stayed on a Monday night and there was no-one around when we arrived at 7pm! Our key was available and measures in place should we need help. The grounds are beautiful and there is so much scope for development in this little part of gorgeous, historic Beechworth. The accommodation is very reasonably priced and very clean. The bed was very...

My partner and I stayed in the Linaker Nurses Quarters. Although the room was comfortable, we were unfortunately woken up around 1.00am by a large group of people. The noise only increased and, around 2.00am music was played extremely loudly. When we called the after hours manager at 2.30am, we failed to get a response. We left a detailed voice...

The hotel is situated in idyllic, quiet, lovely gardens. Booked a standard room which was OK for an overnight stay, but perhaps a little too compact for a couple if staying for more than one night. The room, however, was well equipped, despite its size. Enjoyed a swim in the pool which was very refreshing! Free Wi-Fi and a simple,...

Where do I start.....Once we actually found this place it certainly had some charm, and so much unrealized potential. It felt a bit like being in the twilight zone. We stayed at the ?newly opened? Linaker Art Deco Nurses Quarters, which IS apparently part of the above George Kerferd Hotel, but is completely separate. Both places are in the grounds...

Amazing place to unwind and relax - good, wine and service! Such an amazing place to go after a spa treatment! Lunch goes from 12 to 3 and there is no reason to rush! The food was amazing and the choice for local wine was brilliant! Will be back! ❤️

We had a lovely standard room on the third floor of the Linaker Art Deco Nurses Quarters and our rellies were upgraded to a beautiful king room nearby. Both rooms were nicely presented and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and high quality linen. We managed our own walk around the impressive Mayday Hills estate, which originally surrounded the old insane...

We had only one night at the George Kerford Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our room in the main hotel was roomy and looked out onto a woodland setting, part of the 40 hectare Mayday Hills estate. Had a lovely walk around the gardens and checked out the old asylum/nurses quarters which is also part of the hotel. A continental...

Stayed at the George Kerferd Hotel Beechworth for the third time in four years. Why because we have found it to be a relaxing environment, friendly staff and magnificent gardens. Close to wonderful cafes, shops and bush scenery. Well worth a stay you will not be disappointed. Look out for special deals.
