We have just celebrated our Son and Daughter-in-Law's wedding at this amazing venue.

The venue itself is fantastic, with everything you could possibly need to make the wedding day special. The kitchen facilities, bar area, tables, chairs, linen table clothes, bridal suite. We cannot praise it enough.

Our two families stayed in the accommodation, some stayed on friday night and the remainder on the saturday evening. The accommodation is superb. The decor is in keeping with the Old Dairy theme, and the attention to detail in every aspect is brilliant. The toiletries in the bathroom, towels, dressing gowns, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, dishwasher, the bed linen and beds were sooo comfortable - everything is provided for the perfect stay. You can literally arrive with just your clothes, everything else is there for you.

On the morning of the wedding Peridot provided the Groom and his groomsmen with bacon rolls, and the Bride and her bridal party were provided with danish pastries, which all went down a treat.

Jeremy and Peridot were perfect the hosts and were on hand to help if they were needed. Their friendly relaxed and welcoming attitudes made you feel very comfortable.

The morning after the wedding our two families joined for breakfast in The Lodge, where fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, toast, endless tea and coffee, and a full english breakfast was served by Jeremy & Peridot. What a fantastic way to finish our stay.

We were also lucky to see two Deer from the kitchen window of the Calf Shed,

We very highly recommend Hatherden Farm, not only for a wedding venue, but also for B&B.

I’m not sure where to even begin and thank you doesn’t seem quite enough.
From the moment we first visited the Old Dairy at Hatherden we knew there was no other place we wanted to have our Wedding Reception. It was the perfect place for us. If you are looking for a venue that you can make your own, with hosts who will allow you to do exactly that look no further.
Peridot and Jeremy are AMAZING. From the moment we first met them we were filled with excitement. They both made every idea seem possible and had a great list of suppliers that came highly recommended :) Peridot and Jeremy are so relaxed, friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating.
The Old Dairy doesn't feel like a venue that is just churning out another wedding, it feels personal, special and unique, it made the planning process for our wedding a dream and our day was every thing and more than we could have ever wished for.
On the lead up to the wedding we asked if we could pop in for a look around/ bring along some family and this was never too much to ask. We also had plenty of time beforehand to bring things up to the venue which was very handy.
My bridal party stayed at the venue the night before the wedding and we used all of their rooms on the night of the wedding. The accommodation at the old dairy is second to none. Every room has character and is beautiful, we all slept very well in your cosy beds.
Peridot and Jeremy were there in the background during our wedding ensuring everything was just so- and on hand when they were needed- for this we are very grateful.
We were brought bacon sandwiches and pastries on our wedding morning and had a delicious breakfast cooked for us to have in the shooting lodge the morning after the wedding. Every aspect of our time and experience here was perfect thanks to what Peridot and Jeremy have created. Thank you for being such a huge part of our big day.
We are looking forward to coming back for a nights stay again with you soon and cannot recommend the Old Dairy enough.
Love and best wishes Lucy and Dan X

My fiancee and I stayed at Hatherden Farm in early August 2010 as we required B+B in the area to allow me to attend a physics lecture. I had left booking suitable accommodation to the last minute, but we fell really lucky with getting a vacancy at Hatherden Farm. Both of us were taken with its location and rustic charm, being in an area where a large percentage of the hopuse have thatched roofs etc. We were greeted by Jeremy and Peridot (the owners) on arrival, and they immediately made us feel at home and very welcome.

Our accommodation was in a renovated barn, and frankly, it is first class. We had access to our own kitchen and dining area (should we have needed it), and our bedroom had a luxurious double bed with egyptian cotten sheets. Flowers and chocolates had been placed in the room alongwith his 'n' hers towel robes. We had the best two nights sleep we can remember in that bed! The room also has its own on-suite, Within the barn is a two storey museum to farming life of days gone bye, containing all sorts for farming implements and curiosities. I found it very interesting to see how our forbears worked the land. The farm is a huge and great for walks, and we took our dog Dennis on our weekend too, and he was also made very welcome. The local pubs in the area are also dog friendly and serve fantastic food. I commend Hatherden farm to all, you will love it and enjoy the welcome given. Oh and surprisingly, Haterden Farm has a heated swimming pool too!

Breakfast at the farm is prepared and served by Jeremy in the main house and was very very good. I would recommend Hatherden Farm to all and given its location in rural Hampshire is a drem location for a visit,

My daughter had her wedding at the Hatherden Farm Barn and it was the most wonderful day. Ours was the first event at the newly renovated barn and it was a stunning venue. It was beautiful and every attention to detail had been lovingly and cleverly thought out. Jeremy and Peridot (owners) were so very accomodating and helpful with all of our needs. The cottage which we stayed in was perfect and beautifully furnished and very comfortable. All of the 120 guests that attended were wowed by it all and complimented us on the choice of location and many said it was the best wedding they had been to !! We had an amazing day and feel very lucky and priviledged to have experienced the charm, luxury and fantastic hospitality which we received. I would highly reccomend both the barn and the cottage to anyone wanting a first class venue/location. (Also there is a brilliant pub "The Bell & Crown" a short walk away which serves delicious home cooked food which is thatched and beamed and with a very hospitable landlord Graham.)
Awaiting photos which we will share. :) Gill Coe

We found the Hatherden farm in a google search and decided to stay in the Calf Shed. What a wonderful and gorgeous place! Genuinely cosy and beautifully decorated. Every detail is well thought out and extremely tasteful. Peridot and Jeremy were very welcoming and helpful. They made us feel at home from the moment we got there. We had a lovely weekend with our newborn and felt very sad to leave. We will definitely come back soon and can't recommend to stay there enough!

My son and daughter in law recently celebrated their wedding at The Old Dairy.
Where to start?.. the hosts Jeremy and Peridot. The two most wonderful people who simply cannot do enough for you..
I would suggest if you are looking for a wedding venue, see this place first .. it is amazing and the recommendations Peridot mentioned to us, where absolutely spot on.
From setting up on the Friday to tucking in to a hearty breakfast on the Sunday, these two fabulous people looked after us.
We also used all the rooms available... such a fun and eclectic mix of accommodation with super comfy beds, gorgeous toiletries and even a SMEG fridge in the Shepherds Hut filled with cans of G&T.
They have thought of everything.
Our two families joined for breakfast, where fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts and a yummy hot breakfast was provided.
Highly recommend Hatherden Farm, not only for a wedding venue, but also for B&B.

We hosted our wedding here in May 15 and it really was perfect in every way. Peridot & Jeremy were fantastic and very attentive making the planning very easy for us. We had the venue from Friday so we could set up until Sunday lunchtime to pack up. The party could go on as long as we liked providing the music finished at midnight which meant here was no pressure on the day. They were willing to do some liaison with the bar staff and caterer for us and filled the place with flowers if we were not going to. They also allowed us to take photographs in their private garden which was the perfect couple time away from everyone else. There are only a few rooms on location, but it is well located so there are plenty of b&bs in the surrounding villages and also in nearby Andover. The attention to detail in the barn, made it unique and the light coloured walls make the room feel very spacious. They have croquet and giant jenga which we used on the front lawn and the outside area is perfect for reception drinks (assuming the weather is nice). The quirky milk bottle lights and copper topped bar made the venue unique and made it very easy to make it your own. It was just perfect, thank you Peridot & Jeremy.

We stayed in The Lodge for 2 nights' B&B, but didn't use the self-catering facilities. The accommodation is very comfortable with lots of little extras and nice touches. The decor is a little quirky but full of character, in-keeping with the working farm surroundings. Some people may not like the lack of wifi, especially as the mobile signal isn't great, but for us it enhanced the feeling of having escaped the real world for a while. However, the outstanding feature of our stay was the friendly hospitality of Peridot and Jeremy. They are both very outgoing and extremely welcoming, making you feel totally at home and relaxed. Nothing is too much trouble and it feels more like staying with friends than at a B&B. Breakfasts were excellent and we can recommend the village pub across the road for good food and good beer. Overall, the Dunnings are brilliant hosts and we recommend Hatherden Farm wholeheartedly.

I was fortunate enough to have this venue recommended to me when I was looking for somewhere to hold my significant birthday party. As soon as I spoke to Peridot I knew that I wanted to have my party at Hatherden - she was so friendly and accommodating. The pictures on the website although gorgeous do not do justice to the venue. The barn and all the overnight accommodation has been renovated and decorated to a very high standard with amazing attention to detail. Peridot is a pleasure to deal with and could not be more helpful. All my guests were blown away by the venue and I had the most amazing evening and from the cards and messages I have received so did everyone who attended. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic and a lovely way to round of a fantastic evening!
