It's your basic run of the mill caravan park and is a bit of a way out of town.... near the pub though. Remember to take linen as it is not provided for all guests....you'll get find $20 if you leave a cup on the sink too!

Loved the little 2 bdrm (sleeps 5 ) Deluxe Cabin. Just enough room and the main bed was very comfortable. Aircon worked well - and on a 30 degree weekend, that was awesome. Pool was lovely - refreshing and clean. Cockatoos and emus came by our deck to say hello every morning. We lit a campfire one (still) night and...

Thanks Jennifer for your review. The pool is a great way to cool down and relax on a hot summers day. Our Deluxe cabins are great for a family get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We have been trying to get an extra ADSL line into the property to speed up the internet but unfortunately have...

Pretty standard caravan park with lots of wildlife walking/flying past your cabin/tent everyday. Large grounds for tents to setup anywhere. Cabins were well equipped, smaller cabins all bunched together while larger cabins have much more privacy and views of grounds. No wifi in rooms unless you're next to reception building. Pool kept clean. The park is located a few kms...

Thanks for your review of our park. Halls Gap has a lot of wildlife and we are lucky to have so many that come into our park. Many of our guests enjoy the Halls Gap Hotel only a 5 minute walk up the road. Sorry to hear about you comments with the cabin cleaning. Our check in time of 2pm...

I was initially a bit put off by all the bad reviews that I only read after booking this place, but we are currently in the middle of our stay here and am very happy with our choice. Yes, there is no phone coverage but we are finding the wifi to be mostly acceptable and we really can't fault the...

Thanks Shane for your review. Many of the bad reviews for our park are from before Feb 2016 when the business ownership changed (previously Grampians Gardens). Since we took over a lot of hard work has been put into the park and many upgrades been done with more still planned. Most of our guests stay at our park because it...

Rest room are in poor condition, needs periodic cleaning and uplift. BBQ were not clean, the only decent one was attached to rest rooms and couldn't use it either. One good thing is that the pool was maintained well.

Im not sure you left a review for the correct park as we dont have any BBQ's attached to the rest rooms. We do have 3 BBQs around the park and they are cleaned daily. I am sure our guests dont expect us to clean the BBQ's after each person has used them. As previously stated on this site we...

Only issue is the wifi which is so poor its better to say this caravan park doesn't have it. We loved the place but wont go back due to the performance of wifi, we have already booked elsewhere in the same region for no other reason. It's really problematic given you don't get mobile phone service. A real shame as...

Thanks Daniel for taking the time to write a review about your stay/ I am sure most of our guests will realise that the Mobile phone coverage is something that is completely out of the control of our caravan park. Quiet Bush Type Caravan Park. Pet Friendly which is good thing, also has an off leash area. Amenities block needs to be updated. Lots of wildlife roaming around ie Roos, Emus and Cockatoos everywhere. If you like bush conditions and wildlife this a great place. We like wildlife but don't particularly like bush conditions. Everyone has different tastes, it may...

Thanks Steve for your review. As we are located right next to the Grampians National Park we get many wildlife visit the area. Our unpowered open-range area is best suited for those wanting a bit of space but also the comfort of having amenities not too far away. We do also have numbered powered campsites closer to each other for...

The campground in general is alright and has a pool, but unfortunately our tent site as well as the surrounding ones were covered in poo - yes POO. We understand that there is a lot of wildlife roaming freely, but we couldn't even find a clear spot to put a tiny two person tent. Also the ammenities could use an...

Thanks for taking the time to write a review about your stay. As our park is located right next to the Grampians National park we do get many animals in the park, mainly Kangaroos and Emu's. This is the only "poo" that will be on the lawns. As they are both herbivores the "poo" does not smell and breaks down...

We liked the location of this caravan park as it was a bit out of town and very quiet. The grassy camping areas are good places to spot Kangaroos in the evening. The staff was pleasant. Thanks for your comments about your stay at our park. Its great to hear that overall your experience at our park was good besides the issue with the heating. This is a very pleasant, quiet caravan/camping park, which is located a little way from the centre of the town, within easy walking distance (4km, 45 mins). We had a powered site for our (new, to us) motorhome. We were a bit surprised to find there was no individual-site drains for grey water. However it was not a problem, even...
