Great pub with great service and food!! Third time visit for AFL grand final and very disappointing as we can't watch the match easily as the screen is so small......soccer patronage would pay for large TV screen on one day!!! Please update your screen as more of the team would watch at the pub!!

This is a lovely place, nice staff, food and room number 7 was fantastic. Great cleaner! Awesome shower. We enjoyed one of Grant's hire boats, three hours for $90, lovely witty newsagent man. All in all, a lovely experience.

Booked a room and was advised we were being allocated one of the recently renovated rooms - sounded good. The bed was comfortable, the room small, carpet dirty, shower head spray was awful - the spray so small, and the hot water took forever to come through. Outside of our room was dingy and needed sweeping. The evening meals were...

From the lack of response to emails through to not being personally advise that there was a problem with the hot water system and we would be having cold showers only this motel seems to struggle with communication. I have been eating regularly at the Mallacoota Hotel Motel since the new management have taken over and have found the meals to be delectable, especially the seafood. Wonderful young female chef with innovative ideas very obliging staff.A specials board each night so always variety.

Had dinner at the Pub and it was the worst meal that I have ever had. It was meant to be salt and peper calamari but what was served were rings of this soft goey substance wich was smothered in peper and which I immediately sent back to the kitchen. No apology and no refund. The cost of the meals...

Spent a night here and was underwhelmed to be honest. The room was dark and had painted brick walls and chipboard ceiling, the sink was metal and there was what appeared to be a changing room style bench in the room. I think the place is really set up for fishing which appeared to be the main thing going on...

We stayed overnight to visit friends and were surprised to find the kitchen turning out really high quality food utilising local produce. I had a t-bone steak which was perfectly cooked, served with local king prawns tossed in kombu butter. There was also some foraged pigface added in which worked really well. My wife had beautiful fresh local fish in...
