They saved me from camping hell with the only room left in the town during the music festival. That said, the hotel is a relic of the past and out of step with hotel offerings of that price range. A late cancellation meant I was offered the family room, which consisted of a double bed and two single beds. The... More

Came in with my husband and 2 kids. We were greeted by absolutely lovely staff who were so obliging to our needs. We walked up stairs to our room and it was just beautiful. We have stayed here before but the changes made by the new owners shocked us. We had a television in our room which is a new... More

Fish and chips were quite nice but the smallest serving I have ever had. We felt ripped off at $23 approx.. As a result we will never return. If it is table service we were not served. Beer is bottled only.

We have lunched here for past two years in Feb. Great meals outside on verandah with very friendly staff ( Tiffany is a gem) & super welcoming of our Lab! Thanks for two great meals this week. There are few places in the area that beat this for lunch. Can highly recommend verandah on a sunny day!

We caught the ferry from Sorrento over to celebrate my Mum's birthday. We didn't have anywhere planed for lunch, we walked passed and spoke to a waitress asking about kids meals. They were not open for lunch till 12, but were offered drinks. We went for a wander and came back. All meals came out quickly and were very tasty... More

We stayed overnight due to a friends birthday so it was unexpected and we had the last room in Queenscliff. The old hotel is full of charm and the staff were pleasant. It was a shared bathroom which concerned me but it is apparently cleaned twice a day (as evidenced by the used little soaps being there in the afternoon... More

We poped in for drinks and snacks on a daytrip to Queenscliff. Yes, it was expensive, both for the area and Victoria in general but it had a nice colonial feel to it. I did think I might like to stay here if I'm passing through the reviews on here have put me off a little.

Our friends were staying here for a night and hated their room because it was old small and dated. They are Poms on holiday so were used to the era lol. We eat down stairs in the café and that was a different story. Our pregnant waitress was fantastic who did a great job serving a busy night herself. The... More
