Great rate, great room, great Free WiFi & Spa for the kids...excellent location - close to the beach- and value for money with fridge, air con and close to shopping centre/s. Friendly & accomodating staff & management with easy drive to Portsea for the Portsea Twilight Run.

We went to Mornington Peninsula for a weekend and we stayed at Copper Lantern Motel 2 nights. There was a cigarette smell in the room and it was not clean. Moreover there was pee on the toilet bowl! We couldn't sleep because of the smell and cold! Don't go there.

Due to needing wheelchair, was given Family Room. Excellent bed, plus had 2 bunks if necessary. Bathroom very accessible for wheelchair user. Only complaint about this motel, is a major stuff up done by owners/ renovators, pre this owner taking over. It is a very bright room, with well maintained garden outside, for all to use, but, for some dumb...

A great little place on the foreshore. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Cheap and cheerful. Not the Ritz but much more affordable, and clean. Owner a lovely chap. So nice that he rescued a sick old cat that was going to be put down. We've been here twice and will one again.

Yes, this is an old 1960's style motel, but it is probably the best value for money at Rosebud if you are not wanting more than 2 1/2 stars. Clean but old, it was well supplied with tea/coffee/milk and small fridge, hot water fine, bed comfy, the hot tub was good. Casual place, friendly manager, the rooms all face inwards...

We made this a pit stop. but stop there, it wasn't a pit. The bed was comfy and had a working electric blanket which we needed. The white goods were all clean and worked and the shower was great. The welcome was friendly and for the cost it was OK. Yes, it's tired, the walls are thin , and it's...

As people have said previously, if you are after 5 stars this isn't for you, if you want to be close to the beach it's great, room was clean, a bit of traffic noise in the room we had but not too bad. For 100 bucks a night over the holiday period it serves it purpose well, bed was comfy......

It is what it is...which is to say...don't expect much. That said, it served its purpose. Inexpensive - vis a vis its competitor (100 bucks) - clean and had everything one would need. Clean min-fridge, microwave, utensils and so forth. I thought linen was clean and bed comfortable. The towels were a bit weird, felt almost like a velour type...

I stayed here for one night last week during a short trip to the Mornington Peninsula. The facilities are basic but the rooms are clean, the queen size bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is quite modern. The motel is on Point Nepean Rd which is quiet at night (very little traffic). Also the rooms are at the back...
