Stayed for one night on a Victoria road trip, the dining room is beautiful, service was excellent and our meal very good. I agree with the previous review the Peppercorn is a restaurant with rooms. We slept well, the room was quiet and comfortable . I would stay here again. Kelly was friendly and welcoming , the waitress was very...

Had the Fisherman's Bowl - good size and very nice. Service excellent and the drinks very cold. Ambiance was very rustic - loved the old brick work. One thing to work on - the Sticky Date needed a tad more sauce and ice-cream.

I was visiting friends in Yea for New Year's and popped in to the Peppercorn Hotel for lunch on the 31st. What a nice choice & a great way to end the year! The pub is really lovely inside with lots of exposed brick and nice little antique touches that give the place character and ambiance. (I particularly like the...

This traditional, old station hotel, opposite the old railway stop, offers simple yet comfortable accommodation. A spacious room with comfortable bed, clean linen and hot water for his and her showers (!) looked out over the outside terrace to the road. Dinner was really excellent, plentiful and well cooked although, to us visiting Brits, local people seemed to eat early and...

Yea was a central location for a catch up with friends from Melbourne and Shepparton, a fairly plain looking exterior but don't let that be the judge as once you step into the place you see a very charming rustic look. Our lunch was of a very high standard with beaming comments from the steak eaters on our table, my...

We have just returned from a one night stay at the Peppercorn Hotel, Yea. What a beautiful place, the owners Kelly & Chris made us feel so welcome and the place itself is cosy and full of character. We ate at the hotel on Saturday night and the food was great, beautifully prepared and delicious. Try the pork belly! We...

Had dinner recently at this little establishment in Yea. The building appears like a well maintained country pub on the street front - and with a classic wide verandah. On the inside there's a beautifully presented and furnished dining room and a quiet lounge bar to the side. The place is surprisingly formal in appearance. The menu is excellent and...

Unfortunately The Peppercorn accommodation was booked out when we tried to stay there but my husband & I had dinner there. What a stunning old pub, it has a fantastic atmosphere. The owners were so friendly & the calamari was probably the best I have ever had. We will definitely be back to stay a few nights!!!

This hotel restaurant is excellent we celebrated a birthday there and you could not fault it ! The staff were friendly and the setting was great for a very enjoyable evening with a roaring fire making a great atmosphere on a cold night. The biggest hit was the food, everyone enjoyed their meal and the steak was cooked to perfection...
