Only able to get away for one night. We stayed in the huge / corner GALVESTON room. Very much enjoyed all of the beautiful Victorian furniture, decor and stained glass, We spent a few hours in the nearby downtown and just sitting on the back porch. The Brenham Grill off the Lobby area has a terrific Eggs Benedict for Breakfast.

My wife and I stayed in the Richmond Room. The room was spacious and so was the bathroom. I especially liked the shower. The Blue Bell ice cream was a treat and my wife loved the coffee. The staff was helpful as was Suzy. I recommend the Ant Street Inn. John Pringle

My husband and I were looking for a place to see the super moon on November 14th. We chose Brenham and the Ant Street Inn was our choice because it was right in the center of the old charming downtown . The Inn is everything the pictures show in the internet. It has the charm of the old house with... More

We're so glad you chose to spend "Super Moon Monday" with us! The rising moon was indeed amazing! And among the best parts of staying at the Ant Street Inn, even though we're in downtown, with great restaurants, shopping and entertainment, we're not far from the country, so it's just a short drive in any direction to get away from... I was in town for a wedding and decided to stay the night. The Ant Street Inn is beautiful, and a peaceful place to stay. It's a perfect get a way from the hustle and bustle of my every growing big city. I'm looking forward to going back!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad you enjoyed our Guest Social, served Friday and Saturday evenings that do not have something significant going on at the inn or in town, like a wedding (at the inn) or a festival (in downtown). The Brenham Grill does a fantastic job, don't they! We're so happy to have Jaime... More

We stayed for a weekend at the end of September. They were so nice and accommodating the entire time. I came across two small problems one night, and it was taken care of ASAP! I really really appreciated that. After we left, one of the employees found a pair of my diamond earrings and turned them in. So rare these... More

Loved the Ant St Inn! The front desk people are friendly and very informative. Yes, admittedly, Sundays are a little thin. Brenham is, indeed, a small town where family time is still revered. As all of the stores and restaurants in the downtown area are family owned and operated, many of the businesses choose Sunday to rest. It is as it has been for generations in this little burg. And yet, that seems to... More

This Inn is definitely not the cookie cutter hotels of modern times. Susie and Keith make sure you have a great stay. Each room is different but every room we looked at made us smile. I must admit: I do not envy the person who would attempt to replicate the Ant Street Inn! You are absolutely right!
