Drove to this place yesterday to check it out for a possible stay on November 14. I thought it would be a great place to view the supermoon. The women at the reception desk were not busy (it was, in fact, dead at mid-morning on a Monday!). They were less than happy to see me! One of the women actually... More

This was a 'dog' weekend, as the resort is dog friendly. I stayed in the hotel and had a lake view, which was really, really nice. Several of our group stayed in the campsites, too. I saw some beautiful things on hikes. There isn't much else to do if you don't like to hike. But the trails I was on... More

I found Canyon of the eagles online when I was looking for a quick retreat from Austin. When I called and booked my room they lady I spoke to was very knowledgeable about the property and rooms and she friendly answered my million questions I think her name was Aundra. Once we arrived on site we were slightly taken aback... More

My husband and I were looking for a nice getaway for our anniversary of 37 years - even booked the mini-moon package. This is not a resort - just a glorified campground with cabins. Beds are awful - feel like sleeping on boards; floors in the cabins are concrete; no amenities to speak of. Even the food in the dining... More

Canyon of the Eagles Resort was a nice time away from the daily grind. Beautiful views, well maintained property, cute rooms, and friendly staff (for the most part). The pool is cute, we were hoping for a jacuzzi which they do not have. The food was ok, we mostly had the buffets which had a nice selection of food. Definitely... More

Let me first say that this park is owned by LCRA, but the management of the park is contracted to a third-party company. Having said that, it was over $200 to camp here in a travel trailer for three nights. The sites needed maintenance. The 30 amp breaker was falling inside the box, and the water faucet was leaking. The... More

My wife and I spent a weekend here to get away from the daily grind. The resort is isolated from major highways and the city lights which help with the peacefulness at night and the star lit sky. We enjoyed not having a TV in our room as a distraction. There was a TV in the bar so we were... More

So you get to the end of the road, 2341 and you dead end at Nature Park, Canyon of the Eagles.
