A lovely old dales pub with the benefit of great food as well. Good, helpful staff and large, clean bedrooms. If sitting in front of cosy log fire, drinking local ales is your bag, then this is your ideal overnight or weekend stay.More

We found the food to be very nice, not expensive and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. No issues at all.

Well there were dogs in there when we went, it is a small bar area so if you have a St.Bernard it might be a squeeze. As for the accommodation I would say no...but the pub for a drink then we definitely saw dogs in there
