I had a friend getting married in Comfort over the weekend, so my fiance and I took advantage of the opportunity to explore a new area of the hill country! This was our first B&B experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! John & Mary were very welcoming hosts who were easy to talk to, but also gave us privacy to... More

We found this wonderful B&B through the Texas Bed and Breakfast Associations website. My wife and I were just touring the small towns in the Hill Country and needed a one night stay. The Holekamp House is located just a few blocks from the main part of town and was easy to find. We arrived at the front door, rang... More

The bathroom was spacious, the beds were cozy & it was very clean. The hosts were sweet & prepared a delicious breakfast for us. There... More

Two-day girls' getaway was great fun. The house is lovely. Mary and John, the owners, are very friendly and filled us in on the history of their home and the original family. The grounds are spacious and pretty. Breakfast was delicious! Our room, Aunt Dolly' s, was comfortable. It has a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bottled water and... More

The room was full of light and birdsong. There was a fire crackling every morning in the dining room. Breakfasts were delicious and always different. But most of all, John and Mary made the stay so delightful. We received expert advice, heard wonderful stories, and expanded our knowledge of Texas history. Comfort is a great location to explore from. Would... More

We stayed at the HoleKamp House Bed and Breakfast while in Comfort for a Dinah Zike academy. John and Mary were kind and gracious. The house itself is beautiful; full of lovely and comfortable furniture and knick knacks that add to the charm. Mary's food is delicious...we looked forward to her coffee and eggs each morning! “This is a wonderful place to stay in Comfort. If you are there on a Sunday there is not much open in terms of restaurants and shops. It is a charming little town with neat antique shops and a wonderful winery in Bending Branch. Just be prepared for a quiet and relaxing evening if you are there on a Sunday!”
