We enjoyed this property very much, had everything we needed (only thing lacking was ice cube trays in the kitchen). Beautiful place and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Will come again some time.

We stayed in cabin 7. Loved it! Very sweet place!!! There is a birds nest in one of the outside lights that I was worried about causing a fire if it got too hot. But nothing bad. Only other concern is there was wifi in every cabin not just the rec area. But other than that the place was awesome....

Stayed at the Texas on the Frio cabin. It was very cute, quiet and quaint. It was perfect for a trip with friends. There was also a great view of the hill country. I would recommend staying here, and will be visiting again soon!

We had a Great time at Crider's Cabin's! There were 2 couples & it was nice not having any TV, Internet or phone service. We drove through Garner State Park, but other than that, stayed at Cabin! watching Stars at night by a Open Fire 🔥!!

My BF and I stayed in cabin 8! It was cute and very clean! I loved the area, the Frio was beautiful and even better was getting to take pictures by the biggest tree in Texas. I loved that the cabin had a full kitchen!

The trip was great. The cabin was clean. The scenery and seclusion was nice. We did not have to interact with staff directly, and were comfortable with knowing if we needed, they were just a phone call away. The animals were close up. The pool area looked to be under some construction, but was up an running and available to...

Hi 785alexandreat! Thank you so much for staying with us! We are always so pleased to know our guests enjoyed their stay. The pool/hot tub/wifi, sand volleyball, basketball court, gaga ball, tetherball, and washer pits are 100% complete, but we are building a new shaded seating area. It will be finished in the new few weeks. :) Thank you again...

It tuned out a much nicer cabin than anyone thought. The property we had (Cabin 11) was spacious and open for activities, with the clear river running just on the other side. Fire pit and charcoal grill outside. All the kitchen amenities inside. Clean. Great Loft area (spiral staircase not great for some people). No TV, which I actually liked...

Hi ATXDS! We LOVE pleasant surprises! We kind of are "hidden". We are off the highway, but right on the river and unlike many place we own LOTS of land all around our cabins. We've been a family owned and operated resort since 1949 so there is lots of love and care that goes into each one. Thank you so...

Very quiet, clean. The office staff is very friendly and quick to answer the phone or visit any time! Would definitely go back during peak season and enjoy the other amenities with the family! Right down the road from Garner State Park, perfect location!

We decided to do something different for Christmas. We saw the Groupon and decided to rent a cabin at Criders on the Frio! The place was very nice with a nice view! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit as well. Having the river nearby was also beautiful! We would like to return in the summer!

Hi debway57! We are so happy you joined us for a Christmas stay! And we are thrilled you enjoyed your stay with us. The winter months offer a totally different type of stay of the Frio. Things are still, the weather is crisp, and the wildlife moves around more freely, which makes it one of my favorite times of the...

All of our cabins are less than 100 yards from the crystal clear Frio River. Additionally they all have fully equipped kitchens, A/C, and heat. Cabins 8 and 9 have wood burning fireplaces. From the porch swings on 10-15 you can watch the river flow by and listen to the falls (also on our property). We are family owned and operated and have been since 1949. “River access in the 3-bedroom cabin area looks easier than in the 2-bedroom area which has cliffs and steps down to the water. The kitchen is fully equipped, but bring your own sharp knives. Bring your own pillows if you like them plump, not flat. ”
