The room feels like home, small but detailed, my wife loves it here. Its close to many bars and restaurants although chef Micheal cant do enough to help. I loved the full bath, not many hotels have these now, would hope to return

I had actually found this place on the last minute. I had secured another place in South Lamar a month before, yet found out few days before I arrived in Dallas that the area was not safe. Since I had to attend a conference, I was trying to find a location by downtown but not too close, as I hate...

I felt like royalty when I was greeted. Nice chat with the innkeeper, and you know who you are! I had a lovely room with bath, all the amenities I could want, and a chef to serve me breakfast the next morning!! It was so nice to get away for the night--from my spousal unit--and spend it with Daisy!!

If you'd much prefer the feeling of going to stay at grandma's house than the cold, impersonal, you're-on-your-own feeling of a hotel chain, you want the DAISY POLK INN in Dallas, TX. The Inn is over 100 years old and it’s filled with gorgeous antiques. Multiple features made me feel safe, and the personal attention made me feel special. The...

I have stayed here twice now. It's really a very nice place. I have stayed in the guest house and the main house and like them both for different reasons. It's also very authentic with many furnishings and draperies imported from Europe. Everything you see and touch is top quality and you'll also find the usual hotel items such as...

Fantastic place. Owners are great and so was the breakfast. Very close to enjoyable places to visit and eat. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice getaway. Hope to stay there again, when in Dallas.

I love staying at B&Bs because of the personal service and "home-like" atmosphere and The Daisy Polk Inn did not disappoint! The house is beautiful and full of history that is a joy to learn about from the owner, Wayne, and the inn keeper, Patrick. We were greeted by Wayne and Patrick on our first night and they were two...

My husband found this beautiful inn online. We were celebrating his birthday and what was planned as just a pleasant stop-over became one of the best stays we've had in awhile. We knocked on the door at our arrival and the most charming man opened the door to greet us. It was the owner, Wayne. He showed us around the...

What a wonderful house, dating from 1909, with a VERY peaceful, stylish ambiance. Within 10 minutes of arriving and meeting, Wayne, the owner, I felt just like I do when I get home after a long trip. That is not an everyday experience for me and I am a lifelong traveller, currently living in my 11th country, Mexico, but the...

I used to live in Dallas, and I had met someone who stayed at the inn before, so when I returned to Dallas for a one night visit, I chose the Daisy Polk Inn because it's in the Cedar Springs area, and very close to bars and restaurants, and the fun gay nightlife of Dallas. The summer sale price was...
