I stay at this hotel at least 2-3 times a year for a week at a time. Positive - Nice Staff -good location(lots of close good restaurants) avoid hotel food except breakfast - comfortable beds - good size rooms Negative - new elevator touch screen service. Elevators take a ridiculous amount of time and be prepared to stop 4+ times... More

The Renaissance Dallas is a very old hotel. It was built in the early 1980's as a "Stoufer" but has been in the Marriott chain for some time. I stayed here this evening for the first time in several years and here are my impressions. It is a decent business hotel. It is situated close to downtown (but not walking... More

The Renaissance Hotel has very large rooms that are tastefully decorated. One issue that was annoying is the elevator system is being upgraded and at times of the day long wait time. Upon checkout the reservation agent asked me how I liked the club lounge. The problem was that upon checkin I was never advised that I had privilege in the... More

Been traveling across Texas a lot in recent weeks and have always been able to count on the Marriott brand. The Renaissance was a huge disappointment from the start: bright lights and loud 80s music from tinny speakers mark portico entrance; staff -professional but perfunctory greeting; room on 15th floor did have nice view of city but was musty; wi-fi... Stayed 1 night on the 27th floor. Easy location. Used VIP parking and had an UBER driver take us to the American Airlines Center for the concert. Service was great and everyone was helpful getting us what we needed. The room was nice. Beds comfortable. Very clean. Breakfast was great. We had a free continental breakfast and upgraded to the... My stay at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel was my first experience with the brand. We were greeted promptly and courteously. Our room was beautifully furnished, more than enough fluffy towels and electrical outlets for our gear. The staff was more than happy to provide information on local restaurants and well as in-house options. Any question or concern was addressed and... More

Over the last 3 years I have stayed at this hotel, I am not sure of number, probably 5 months. I can only say this is a great hotel, my favorite hotel. Why? Is it a beautiful hotel, yes, great rooms, great lobby, and great restaurant. But that is not why I keep coming back. Its the people and the... More

By no means is this an all encompassing review and is not a blanket review. It's just my take. The room was on the 29th floor. It had an adjoining suite. I could hear the man next door sneeze, blow his nose, and "use" the bathroom. The A la carte food service was average to below average. My guess is... More

Came here for a business meeting and conference. Very nice rooms and a good restaurant. Bar also very good. Nice roof top pool and gym. Good value for money. Meeting facilities were very good and the food served of good quality.
